it's a good hotel

“A Good Hotel”

This was only the second hotel I stayed in during my trips to Guadalajara so I can't compare it to many others. The hotel staff was very responsive to my requests. Desk personnel spoke English and were polite. The room was cleaned every day along with changes of bed linen and towells. The air conditioning and television worked well. The dining area was nice and well maintained. Taxis were readily available just outside the hotel lobby. The hotel is an easy walk to the center of the city. On the "downside" the shower curtain could have been longer since water accumulated on the bathroom floor following a shower (I used the extra towell to mop it up). Also the first room they assigned me had a cockroach. They willingly moved me to another room on a different floor. Overall I was very satisfied with the hotel.

“Good”

Had a good stay here, you get for what you pay. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The front loby is small, but clean and modern. For breakfast the hotel restaurant has a nice ambience and the breakfast buffet is delicious. Hotel hallways are nice with floor to celing mirrors. Hotel room are great size and the bathroom is good size, clean. Furniture is outdated but the bed is confy. Carpet can use some cleaning.

“DISGUSTING”

It looked a lot nicer in the pictures then it did in person .I was so disapointed when i walked in the room .They also cockroaches and really bad lighting ,so dipressing

The service is really good, attentive and polite. However, the rooms are really bad and old. Bathroom is dirty. You can smell humidity and dust in the rooms. I just feel sorry because the staff was very polite.

“Don't do it!”

There are other great downtown hotels that are much nicer for the same money. For example, try to stay at Hotel Morales and San Francisco.
