this hotel is , clean , nice newly remodeled rooms, the beds are new and very comfortable, the staff in more than willing to assist with anything needed, breakfast is real food , not donuts, and fruit, the water system is wonderful all properly functional , hot water, a very nice pool area on the rooftop with a great view, located in walking distance to all tourist attractions, many small home made food courts, shopping markets,. and best of all the price is rite.

Though the bathroom has recently been refurbished and is nice, the hotel is SO dirty and the staff just doesn't care at all. Rooms facing the avenue very noisy since windowsglass is very thin.

The Gran Hotel Los Reyes in Guadalajara, MexicoPosted Feb 6, 2011 on Hotels.com
The hotel was convenient to the Mariachi Square, the Mercado and most of the squares. Clean, with comfortable beds. A little out dated but they were renovating the upper floors and we had our choice to upgrade if we wished. Staff were great and friendly. Hotel restaurant had good food at a reasonable price with very friendly staff. Overall a good experience.

Unsafe zone.Posted Dec 29, 2010
The reason we choose to stay at Los Reyes was because of how close the hotel is to Plaza de los Mariachis. but the hotel staff and a couple taxi drivers told us to stay away from Plaza de los Mariachis because there are thieves that steal wallets and purses.
