Very cold welcoming

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: The room is nice and the gardens are great.
Cons: Overall service. Specially the personnel at the reception desk should be trained more professionally. They are cold and not welcoming.
Location: The location is OK. Really Guadalajara is a nice city to visit and easy to move around.
We arrived with great expectation because Camino Real used to be one of the best hotel chains in Mexico. Big disappointment. Upon arrival the receptionist made sure to let us know that all we needed (internet, parking and even water) was available with extra charge. She was very sure to let us know that because we made a reservation through a low cost company we would not get any benefits with our rate. The hotel is nice, clean but starts to look old. And it really becomes a terrible hotel if you are not properly welcome.

Nice hotel for a family when visiting Guadalajara. 3 pools to choose from. Breakfast buffet was very good. Room and bathroom were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Mal estado de las habitaciones

Posted Apr 20, 2015

Pros: The gardens are nice.
Cons: Service
Location: The location is good.
The rate is $300 USD per night but they charge for wifi connection, coffe kit and even drinking water!

Hotel is nice but old

Posted Apr 7, 2015
Price was ok but they charged you for everything else (wifi, water, no coffeemaker in room) They also forgot to mention parking was not included. We had to wait for an hour to do the check in. Food in the hotel was expensive and service mediocre. Water in one of the pools was coming out really hot, no one did anything about that.

Very pretty grounds, staff is friendly good wifi

Posted Mar 31, 2015
The rooms are large, comfortable beds and pillows, nice amenities, but they should include water bottles. Wifi is good. Staff is so friendly and professional, the Buffett is deliscious. Loved our 13 days here. Especially nice to have a downstairs room that opens to gardens. We were in 1102 :-)
