Hotel with excellent location, rooms and foodPosted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: It is well located. Not far from downtown Guadalajara, right by some of the most important avenues that cross the city in different directions.
We were surprised by the quality of the breakfast buffette.

Nice hotel, good locationPosted Aug 27, 2013
Pros: I like the food at their restaurant, the location is very good for my needs.
Cons: It would need some updating, the night lamps were in very bad shape, the curtains had some damage, small things, i am aware the hotel is quite old.
It was pleasant, good service, however they have problems with the water supply, one day there was not water at all and the next morning the water was murky, good security, the staff is very helpful and cordial all the time.

Excellent service in the heart of townPosted Aug 14, 2013
Pros: staff interaction, convenience, excellent breakfast buffet.
Cons: the rooms though very clean look a little dated, though the furniture itself does not! I think maybe retexturing of walls, etc
Location: the hotel is located in front of the minerva round about with access to small relaxed food or great shopping at the grand plaza very close by.
We had an absolutely excellent experience at the Fiesta Americana Guadalajara during our stay! the staff was professional, courteous and prompt! all issues if any were resolved immediately, they truly did exceed my expectations. On top of that I won a free night on check in trough a program that was running at the time. I am looking forward to coming back to the hotel.

A great place to stay in GuadalajaraPosted Aug 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
I reviewed several hotels in Guadalajara prior to choosing Fiesta Americana. This is a hotel that is close to downtown where the main museums and main markets are located, and as far as my family and I are concerned, it was a great choice. The building is a bit dated, but it has to do with the fact that it is earthquake resistant. Getting the free daily Buffet for two adults as part of the booking is truly a great deal (normal cost is about US$20 per person. Kids under 12 pay half price, but it was offered to us for free as a "hotel courtesy". The buffet is truly outstanding. Parking costs about US$5 per day, and you can either self-park, or use the valet parking at no additional cost (except for the tip). Parking in the downtown area is really good, but do not park in the street. Use the official parking areas, and the cost is reasonable, and the car is much safer. If you have a GPS that includes Mexico, bring it with you. It will save you a great deal of time. The hotel offered us an upgrade in the recently renovated upper floors, but I felt that we could make better use of our money and buy some additional gifts instead. It was overall a great stay at the Fiesta Americana hotel.
