Time Out

Posted May 19, 2015
Its been a long time since I have traveled on my own to another country but I felt at home. The employees were pleasant and accommodating and I truly was able to enjoy Guadalajara and reenergize . Getting away from ones comfort zone can be so healing.

Posted May 11, 2015
NO ES POSIBLE QUE RESRVAS ALGO EN LIBEA, Y LLEGAS AL HOTEL Y TODO TE LO MODIFICAN, AQUI ENTONCE QUIEN TIENE LA CULPA LA COMPAÑIA INTERMEDIARIA O EL HOTEL??

The best hotel in Guadalajara

Posted May 11, 2015
Everything was perfect, room comfort, staff very friendly as helpful. The only con that I see is that there's no pool. Besides this is the best place to stay in Guadalajara.

Nice Neighborhood

Posted May 1, 2015
Pros: It's new. It's comfortable.
Cons: One of the phones in my room didn't work, and the Internet was pretty much useless during the mornings.
All good, the hotel is nice, the neighborhood is nice with a few restaurants near by. And it's a 30 minute drive to the city center.

Excellent Hotel and location, great value, but...

Posted Apr 10, 2015
Pros: Locatio, closeness to bars, restaurant, nightlife.
Cons: Carefulness in selecting employees and security. I recommend the hotel, don't want to blame the whole nice organization for a some infiltrated crooks.
Location: There are great restaurants, bars and a small but nice shopping mall with cinema and a spa withing walking distance.
Everything was excellent, except the fact that although the room was paid for they required a charge of $2000 pesos ($150 USD) as a deposit, which if I didn't use would be refunded in cash. It was refunded. However it was the only place during my whole stay that I used said debit card, and then my card got cloned and the charges started piling up exactly on the day of my checkout (the charges were for bus fare and hotels to and from Guadalajara). Also during the last night someone tried to get in (around 12am), an access card was used succesfully but the inside lock was what prevented the door to be opened. Hotel staff couldn't give an answer and dismissed it as "an error".

Fiesta Americana

Posted Mar 25, 2015
Pros: Great location, clean, and the restaurant on the 2nd floor provided incredible service.
Cons: The bar/restaurant by the lobby needs better food, the food was below average! Nothing we tried was good and was way below PAR.
Location: GREAT location close to restaurants, bars, and shopping centers
Incredible service from the front desk but especially from the "Cuatro Estaciones" Restaurant on the 2nd floor which included 2 complimentary breakfasts for 2 people for every day of my stay. The gym upstairs on the top floor has incredible views but needs A/C it was really hot. Lastly there is no pool and no country club so not sure why it is called Grand Country Club although there seems to be a golf course about a 1/4 - 1/2 mile away. Only bad part of my experience is my son had a dry cleaning bill which he had left me money for on the table and housekeeping mistook it for a "tip" ...this is still under investigation from the hotel.
