“Great location, poor services”
I did not have high expectations for this hotel, but I was looking for something at a reasonable price and good location. This is by no means a 4-star hotel, but for the price you're paying it's good value.
The best aspects of this hotel are the central location, nearby grocery store, and amazing rooftop terrace (which no one will mention it, but just walk up the stairs to the 9th floor, and there is a door to the roof which offers 360 panoramic views of the city. Great place to have a beer at night, or just look around and take photographs. I don't think anyone knew we went up there, or if they cared, but we kept it on the DL and never had an issue.
What irked me the most was the lack of internet. Nothing in the rooms, and very shoddy internet in the lobby. Second to that was lack of any service. The maids barely did anything in the rooms but take out the trash and make the beds, I noticed the floors became pretty dirty for example. The desk clerks were not particularly communicative or helpful. The breakfast buffet looked about 20 years old.
I would stay there again because of the positives, but I could see how this hotel would disappoint some people. It's a shame because with a few minor tweaks, this place would be amazing.
