“Great local hotel”
Hotel Morales is a great local Hotel, with excelent service as warm as everyone at Guadalajara. It's three blocks from downtown core, so sightseeing is really convenient.
“Good value and a comfortable "feel"”
Good basic hotel which clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Be sure to experience the best local restaurant that has the locals lined up at all hours two blocks up the street--La Chata...
“Wonderful Guadalajara Hotel Morales”
I chose Hotel Morales in Guadalajara following comments on Trip Advisor and it really exceeded my expectations. From the outside it doesn't seem anything out of the ordinary but once your in, it is something else. The inside of the building is beautiful; the colonial style architecture and the interior decoration. The hotel staff is very friendly and polite and willing to do anything to make your stay more enjoyable. My room was impecable; clean, nicely decorated, comfortable and spacious. Location was also great as it is located about two blocks from the Cathedral and the Plaza and plenty of places to eat and shop. I highly recomend this hotel.
“Love this place”
I really liked this Hotel it was in a good location very near a lot of things . I would go back if fact I don't think I would stay anywhere these .
“Good service and kindness”
We had a great time there and the kindness of the Hotel Staff was excellent
“lovely old world hotel in historic area.”
We enjoyed our stay, the staff and food at the Morales in Oct. It is a lovely old world style building in the area of all the historic churches and colonial buildings. It is well maintained, and when we had an air conditioning issue, staff dealt with it immediately. All our meals were very good, priced well and service was fast and polite. Easy walk to the main plaza, and shopping areas. I felt like I was in downtown Madrid. I'd stay there again.
“Good location”
This is our second year at Hotel Morales. The hotel is near everything that we wanted to do or close enough for other places we wanted to go with very reasonable taxi fares. It is an older building but the whole place has been refurbished so that the things that are important, such as bathrooms, are modernized. However, the lighting in the bathroom was poor and they do not provide washcloths unless you ask for them. Ask the maid for whatever you need and not the front desk as we were not given anything from the front desk personnels. We enjoyed a Trio at the lobby area on some nights. They also have piano playing during breakfast and lunch. We would like to make the Mariachi Festival next year and possibly stay at The Morales. Our flight didn't leave until late at night so we had the bellman hold our luggage for us which they gladly did. Overall, we had a very nice experience at this property.
“Hotel Morales”
In the center of the Guadalajara historic district. Excellent staff, very attentive and a joy to deal with. One drawback is their poor wi-fi system. If you get a chance try "La Chata" and "La Gorda" two restaurants about a block away that have excellent southern Mexican cuisine.
“Great Downtown Hotel Experience”
Great location. Great Service. Great overall experience.
“Guadalajara's Best Hotel”
This is our 3rd time to stay at the Hotel Morales. It is the perfect hotel in the historical district of Guadalajara. Walking distance to the plaza and Catholic church plus the Mercado. The staff is excellent and very helpful. They continue to add to the hotel and will soon open a swimming pool and gym. The entire ambience of the hotel is one of a by-gone era. It is a beautiful hotel and a real pleasure to be a guest there. I would recommend the Hotel Morales to anyone that wants the true flavor of Guadalajara.
