“Viva Hotel Morales!”

This was a wonderful place to stay. From the moment the driver picked us up to take us to the hotel to the moment at (4 am) he picked us up again to take us back to the airport this was an exceptional stay. The hotel rooms were large, clean and comfortable. It is beautifully decorated and well taken care of. The staff was very accomodating. The location of the hotel is just blocks from anything you would want to do in the heart of Guadalajara. The Hotel is within walking distance to San Juan de Dios, all the government buildings, beautiful plazas, great restaurants, churches, etc.... The car service is also a real plus... no hassling with taxi's if you wanted to be driven somewhere... there is a charge but it is a deal. We only ate a couple times at the hotel and the food was good but there was so much around the hotel it was hard to eat at the hotel. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

“Loved it”

We loved the hotel, and the service was fabulous. Just one thing we'd like to see added-- a fitness room.

“Awesome hotel... only problem for me was no wireless”

Hidden treasure, great location. The only problem was no wireless, and they said they has it. They gave me cable but my room did not work. Be sure to eat at La Chata, which is 2 blocks away. We ate there 1/3 of the time we were there.

“Pictures on Hotel site don't do it justice”

I was skeptical at the first glance of the hotel pictures. But after reading some of the reviews, I decided to try this hotel. What a great choice! This hotel is gorgeous. It's a chic and modern hotel with a lot of history. The hotel staff are very friendly and more than willing to help answer any questions that you may have. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. It's n a great neighborhood with easy access to transportation. It'walking distance to some of the major sites in Guadalajara.

“Gorgeous Hotel Morales”

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. My only complaint is that the beds are like cement, but apparently they are changing all the beds to pillowtops in May 2008. Let's hope so!

“An excellent hotel at a low price”

We were surpised about the high quality of this hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful at all times, there is a good restaurant with affordable prices, the building is very nice, and the location is excellent. The room was spacious, clean, and in very good conditions (except for a problem in the shower, which was not reported by other guests before). Moreover, as we spent Mexican Independence day in Guadalajara, there was a nice folkloric dancing show in the lobby, and they even gave us a free margarita :-). In short, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed, considering the price.
