“My first of many stay's in Hotel Morales.”
I would and will stay at the Hotel Morales every time I stay over in Guadalajara. The two day stay was not enough. I only live 45 minutes from the hotel so I plan on making many trips back. I was sorry the time went by so fast. A truly enjoyable experience. The room, the restaurant, the service was all superb. I will stick with a winner.
“Great place, traditional ambiance, polite staff.”
Great place to stay. Extremely clean, very corteous staff. Close to everything.
“Very peaceful hotel at downtown Guadalajara”
Very pleasant stay. The room was very clean and the service was great.
“What a wonderful experience for us”
This was a great find for our first visit to the wonderful city of Guadalajara and where we spent out last 4 days in Mexico. The staff did an excellent job of accomodating our special needs. The restaurant menu and price was another jewel as was the pianist who was there every morning playing beautiful music as we ate our breakfast. We will definitely return to Guadalajara and when we do we we absolutely be staying at Hotel Morales. We give it our highest rating.
“Perfect hotel to "feel" historical Guadalajara!”
Great lobby atmosphere and beautiful spanish/colonial architecture. You must stay here if you want to feel old Mexico. If you want a modern shiny floor lobby with lots of glass and chrome this is not the place. Hotel is a very short walk to historical plaza. Most desk staff is super friendly, others are terse and stiff. Housekeeping and door staff are always genuinely attentive, friendly and efficient. No wifi. Only one computer with internet access and it was always used becuase 2nd computer was out of service. Rooms are quaint and comfortable with all you need for a good rest.
“Great stay in Guadalajara.”
Great colonial style hotel.clean, large rooms, very polite and helpful front desk.in the middle of everything.just a few minutes walk to the cathedral, teatro degollado, instituto cabanas, rotonda and all major points of interest.if you want to visit Tlaquepaque don't take the red sightseeing bus.tickets for 2 are 190 usd.a taxi is 120 usd and there is nothing to see really on the way.the village it's fun and beautiful and you can stay as much as you want.the bus stays only for 20 min and if you wait for the next one-an hour later-there is always a line. La chata restaurant one block from the hotel is good,so is LA VACA ARGENTINA on Tomas V.Gomez str but by far the best is COCINA 88 at 1342 avenida Vallarta.short cab ride from the hotel,20-25 min walking. It's a beatiful mansion with outstanding steaks and seafood plus excellent service.we had a great shrimp ceviche,2 steaks,2 desserts,4 beers for 60 usd.it's a must.

“Impressed”
This is truly beautiful place in the heart of the downtown area. We were treated exceptionally well and would stay there again if in that area.
“Awesome hotel!”
Great location, friendly service, and the inside is beautiful. The beds are a little hard, but I find that in many of the hotels in Mexico.
