Good Location and price, Noisy neighborsPosted Dec 3, 2013
Cons: All good for the price
Location: The hotel is in the downtown one block away from the Guadalajara Cathedral. From there a lot near by. Museums, a park where you can take a tour bus.
We arrived and all was set on their system, which can not be taken for a given in Mexico. Room Ok, clean. at the middle of the night we woke up to a very noisy couple next door. That kept on until 5 am. Fortunately they check out the next day. All good after that.

My yearly tripPosted Nov 22, 2013
Pros: It's confort and the hotel staff.
Cons: I guess the breakfast menu.
Location: If you are looking for a present there is the Centro Joyero (jewelry Center),the Cathedral, end the famous squares (plazas) that form the downtown.
I travel to Guadalajara every year, and I love this Hotel. It's location is just a step away from downtown and the famous San Juan de Dios Market.

Hotel Roma is located in an excellent spot.Posted Oct 1, 2013
Pros: The Fitness Center, Pool and Terrace
Cons: The front desk to alert the customer when they have received a message without the customer having to ask and enough water bottles for each customer.
Location: Hotel Roma is right in the center of many historical sites, shops and restaurants, all in walking distance!
Hotel Roma is a very clean hotel. The staff members are very attentive and friendly! I loved the fitness center, swimming pool and terrace. You get a breathtaking view of the beautiful city of Guadalajara up on the terrace on a beautiful night. The Fitness Center had all the machines I needed to get a great workout.

Some serious flawsPosted Aug 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel is conveniently located. However, the rooms have no dressers, so guests have to live out of suitcases, a situation that becomes almost unbearable . On no less than 15 occasions we had to have the electronic key to our room reprogrammed. The food is mediocre. The service elevator has been out of order over six months and no repair date is in sight. There is only one regular elevator for the entire hotel; it is always packed. We found only two of the staff who spoke English, both bell men, Iggi and another very courteous man who is bald. I would recommend this hotel only for overnight stays for people who speak Spanish.

Great customer servicePosted Jul 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
I wouldn't normally stay in downtown Guadalajara, although locataion is great for walking around. Now after my stay in Hotel Roma I wouldnt think about staying anywhere else. We checked in with 3 rooms and a party of 8. My sister is disabled and my mom forgot her wheel chair. I didnt even have to mention it to them as soon as they saw we didnt have a wheel chair they made one available to us during our stay. The rooms are super clean. We really enjoyed the use of the pool and gym- although small- the view at night is beautiful. All in all this is the best Hotel for customer service.
