Dull but satisfactory

Posted Apr 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
Older two storey with rooms that face inside. We booked a superior room with two kings for its size but were initially given a tiny, dark room with one king bed. We complained and after a few phone calls were finally given the larger room for which we had paid. Good breakfast. Fine if you need to do business in the neighbrhood.

good hotel for a business traveler

Posted Apr 2, 2013
we were only there for one night, staff was very corteous and friendly but i was really expecting a roomier room and a little more privacy, rooms were too close from each other. we needed to have internet access to print out return flight tickets and they didnt have internet service at that time.. I guess we were expecting more !

Pros: People who work in it
Cons: The TV
Location: Perfect
Employees were awesome, very kind and thoughtful. The TV no that good though. It needs more variety.

i think next time i'll look at other options

Posted Sep 17, 2012
Pros: it's in a good location
Cons: the size of the room and the restroom. i could also hear every conversation from the lobby..
Location: its on one of guadalajaras main streets
the room and the restroom were very small. i could barely fit in the restroom.. i could also hear everything from the lobby, i kept waking up when i was trying to go to sleep... one good thing was that it was very clean and the price wasn't too bad.. next time i'll look at other options..

Good for price

Posted Jul 27, 2012
Pros: Cleaning
Cons: Noisy hallways
Location: Good location but heavy trafic
For the price .. Good location but heavy trafic.. comfortable for people visiting the country with a purpose of study or work, with the primary use of sleep. Maid service very good, wash sheets and towels daily. people in the restaurant very nice .. the only problem is that you hear everything that happens in the hallways....

Okay for traveling on a budget

Posted Jul 9, 2012 on Hotels.com
If you are traveling on a budget, this hotel is good enough to crash for the night. However, if you can afford an extra $30-$40 per night, I would highly recommend you stay somewhere else. Here are the PROS: ∙Clean room ∙Great Staff ∙Good size shower stall ∙Complementary breakfast ∙Complementary internet access (in the lobby and restaurant area --signal is too weak for the rooms) ∙Two complementary bottles of water The CONS: ∙Parking area is too small ∙The key to the room is not a card but an actual key tied to a ruler size stick so you have to leave it at the front desk every time you go out of the room and pick it up at the front desk on your way in ---VERY INCONVENIENT and not very secure either ∙The beds are hard (we stayed in two different rooms) ∙The space between one's knees and the wall when sitting on the toilet is about 2 inches -----wow! ∙The windows are old school and not very good at keeping the noise out ∙There echo in the hallways when people talk is loud, specially at night ∙The hotel sits on a very busy avenue and that creates a lot of noise that filters in to the interior ∙A/C is old and noisy --it's a wall unit As I previously mentioned, it's a good hotel if you are traveling on a budget but if you are not, I would recommend staying somewhere else. We did.
