We loved Quinta Real!Posted Jul 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay- the staff was very accommodating and extremely friendly- I'd go back anytime! We particularly liked the nicely appointed rooms, and the food was excellent! The Bell staff were extremely helpful in choosing restaurants and enjoying the surrounding neighborhood.

we stay at Quinta real 2-3 times a month--an oasis in Guadalajara-always great---casual elegance. Can walk to coffee shops---will not pay 70 pesos for a cappuccino at Quinta---3 blocks---25 peso cappuccino----restaurant very expensive--just not our style of ambiance---but overall best we have found in area

Beautiful hotel. Good location.Posted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: The gardens, the suite and the service.
Cons: There was a couple of mosquitoes in our room. I don't know if it is because the rains are starting, but they need to take care of that.
Location: It is near to restaurants and La Minerva. Also to the mall Galerias which is 15 minutes away. The old city is about 15 minutes.
It is a beautiful colonial style hotel! With a lot of details and beautiful gardens. The staff was very nice. Very romantic. Unfortunately we could not stay more. Just overnight.

Beautiful hotel with great servicePosted Jun 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
Absolutely beautiful hotel! You can hear people in the hallway, especially if they are rolling luggage past your room. The breakfast was delicious and we were lucky enough to be there on a weekend for their amazing breakfast buffet. If you book the room with breakfast included there is an extra charge for the buffet (they did not mention.) Although I loved the room, I would say the mattress was not the most comfortable. I would stay there again in a second though. At first we got a room looking at the back parking lot and asked to be moved to a garden view (which I requested at time of booking) and were moved. It ended up being a room over the pool which was still better, but you could hear kids swimming/screaming in the morning. I felt totally safe in the neighborhood, but it is on a main street so we did not venture out or walk anywhere.

Great place; not so great foodPosted Apr 21, 2014
This is a good hotel and it is reasonably priced. It is close to many restaurants. We had the buffet lunch one day and it was dissapointing. They had a wide selection of dishes but most of them were not prepared well. For example, the fish was dry and hard, the octopus was chewy and overcooked. There was however some nice fruit icecreams and cheeses.
