“Most Amazing View of the Bay!”

While this hotel is obviously a little run down and under renovations, the view is Simply Amazing! While most hotels in Tumon Bay face North/South offering little view, the Aurura faces East West offering the most beautiful view I've had from a hotel. The place is great for the price. You're still close to all the shopping and the staff is very helpful.

“Disappointed, very disappointed”

Arrived at 8:00 p.m. and was notified the room was not ready for check-in. No running water in the sink for 2 days (plumbing not connected correctly). No internet access. They didn't have enough ethernet connections for all their rooms (separate hardware required#, so some patrons had no option other than to sit in the lobby with their laptops. 3 of the 5 lamps in the room did not work #no power to outlets). Advertised executive upgrade rate for the room included breakfast for 2 people, but didn't find out until after check in that both persons must actually be in THAT room. What the heck does it matter which room the other person is in? You offer 2 breakfasts included in the price. Give 2 breakfasts! "Breakfast" was served at the Chinese restaurant in the hotel and included a decidedly Asian flavor overall. Not everyone enjoys fried rice and Chow Mein for breakfast. The fitness center is being used as a storage area for restaurant equipment. The one functioning treadmill was dangerous (loose, wobbly belt).

“Third World Experience in USA”

Walked into a dark lobby, no aircon, and a makeshift lobby check in counter consisting of cheap office desks. Rusty bathroom fixtures, moldy air. Hotel is falling apart. If you must stay, bring lysol.

“Few words on the hotel's issues”

You don't necessarily get the room that you booked. And though you pay the same price the rooms in one wing of the hotel are nice and have microwaves and a little kitchen area as advertised on the site and the other wing is all old and even the door keys are old-school metal which stick in the lock and don't open all the time. The whole hotel has a feeling of run down place and no fun with no real hotel beach and the pool closing at 7 pm. So plan accordingly. The good part is you do get a very large and nice bathtub and the tv with cable.

“Beware”

We arrived at the hotel to a fire alarm that the staff was unaware of and we were told to ignore it and go ahead to our room. On the 2nd day our air conditioning failed. We asked for 2 days to have it fixed, but no one bothered to do so or offer to change rooms. The front desk either failed to tell facilities or some one dropped the ball. On the 3rd day I finally got to talk to the owner and he switched our room to one that had the air conditioning working within 5 minutes. The hotel has potential because of beautiful views of the bay, but the management needs to get their act together before I'd consider staying here again in the future.

“Stay next door...”

HORRID customer service, as if the hotel didn't even have a staff.
