Was told over the phone that The Spa was “fully booked” but when I stopped by after 11AM, it was CLOSED, tho published hours are 10AM-10PM. If you manage to get an appt the day before, you can’t cancel/reschedule w/o paying 100% since 24-hr advance notice is required. Bring your own water bottle, shampoo and hair conditioner to gym. I closed my bill the evening before my 6AM flight. Front desk & operator would not answer phone 3-3:15AM when I called for a bellhop to help with some heavy luggage (I’m over 60) and for the valet to bring up my rental car, which I still had to gas up and park before checking in. After almost 10 mins, I noticed a “service hotline” button on the phone, after futilely redialing from my stateside cell. Got to airport late, so checked in before parking the rental, and got a parking ticket. Later, HILTON emailed a bill for an unexplained $3. Cafe Cino had spam croissant. Roy’s was a let down. NO ROOM SERVICE. Swimming in the infinity pools involves you having to walk a ways to return your towel or you will be charged (so I passed on the towel bc my room was closer than the used towel bins). Most of the staff were otherwise friendly and very kind. Clean hotel. Great lobby. Tasi Ocean room is small w/little storage. No pen and pad nor phone by the beds. Bathroom amenities bound to walls industrial style aka “eco friendly”, toilet with gizmos for warmth and washing.
