“Great Staff and Service”

Small hotel with very friendly and accommodating service by Front Desk , Shuttle and Restaurant staff. Water front , open air food service with music at night. Not a resort type place. In need of minor maintenance and microwave I will stay again on my next business trip to Guam.

“Great place; beautiful scenery-beach, ocean, breezy. Santa Fe has the best hotel!”

Clean rooms and great service. Great Great price. Beautiful scenery- beach and ocean sight. Breezy-windy on a sunny day. Walking distance to Shirley's Restaurant. Great Live Band at Bar and Grill (Santa Fe). Admiring sunset while sitting at the beach site. Clean beaches while taking a walk. I highly recommend this place to any one planning to have a leisure time in Guam. I am definetly coming back for a place stay whenever I go for a visit or shopping.

Area recommendations
Guam Premier Outlet...for shopping, food, supermarket, clothing. This mall has the famous Ross, Payless Shoe store, etc. Chilli, movie house, Chucky Cheese, and Famous IceCream are within the area.

“What i seen it was different than other reviews”

I was kind a scared to go to Guam due to all reviews online but I was surprised that everything is same like USA . Santa Fe is great hotel there is no doubt in the price what you pay. if you planing to visit Guam go to Santa Fe for good price and close to airport

“if you wanna reduce your budget, you can choose.”

I spent 11night 12days in Santa Fe hotel. I'm satisfied with cheap price. that's all.....they skipped cleaning up the room and forgot to change towel.. I had 5days without changing towel and cleaning up service.... one serious fact...there were ant in the room... if you leave candy or chocolate on the table..you can see a lot of ant. However, Sata Fe has good swimming pool and restaurant. if you wanna reduce budget, you can go and enjoy your trip.

“Good value and scenic location.”

Santa Fe Hotel's best features are its ocean-front location right on the beach and the best beach bar in Guam. Rooms are a bit worn but clean and serviceable. Could use new carpets. The ocean-front rooms are best. Restaurant food is OK for snacking but not great for main meals. None of the equipment in the work-out room functions. Beach is good for runs. Service staff generally quite friendly and helpful.

“Tired but nice.”

I enjoyed my stay at the Santa Fe. The hotel and my room were somewhat "tired" and need of some refurbishing and sprucing up, but everything worked okay. The employees were very pleasant and helpful. It's on a great beach location and is in a good location for shopping, sightseeing, etc. The restaurant and bar located on the beach are very popular with guests and non-guests alike. Since I only needed a room for "pit stops" between outside activities, it worked perfectly for me. The price was the cheapest I could find on the beach and well worth it. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Guam

Area recommendations
I lived on Guam for 10 years and haven't returned in 30 years. I was very disappointed in how overbuilt the northern half of the island has become. Everything has changed and not for the better, in my opinion. The southern half hasn't undergone all the building and commercialism and still has the beautiful scenery and layed-back attitude that the whole island had 30 years ago. That's the area to focus on if you're not into shopping and rubbing elbows with lots of tourists.

“Budget Hotel - Pros and Cons”

The pool was nice, the staff was pleasant. It took a while to have the room cleaned on many of the days. No bugs or bad smells in the room.The equipment in the exercise room did not work. I was charged a $40 early check in fee. The air conditioning worked well and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is right on the beach, but it is a very small beach. The coffee shop next door had excellent food and service.

Area recommendations
If I was to go back to Guam I would have spent the extra money and stayed in the "hotel row" area downtown. There were a lot of bars and restaurants in walking distance, whereas you are more limited at the Santa Fe,

“"Not impressed"”

For Guam being a country that wants to foster a good tourist relationship the Hotel and Resturant Association should review and recommend how hotels meet that primary Island goal. For the Hotel Santa Fe, they have a lot that could be offered by their location however it is not readily apparent that this is the policy of the Hotel. The rooms just meet the minimum standards when with just a little effort they could be very good. The staff is friendly however not as responsive as you would expect in a tourist environment. I would recommend that the owners take a top down look at the overall hotel operations. I will most likely look at staying in a Tumon location in the future.

Area recommendations
I would recommend the tumon area where most of the Tourist attactions are located. Myself being from Guam was looking more for location rather than being a tourist.
