“Fine for the price”

We were visiting Guam for a funeral and just needed an inexpensive convenient place to stay. This Marriott met those requirements, but is definitely not the type of hotel/resort we would normally select for a vacation.

It is very difficult to travel to Guam from Honolulu because of very limited choice of airlines.

“Fair price for 4 star hotel”

This is a good hotel, nice pool, right on the beach. Lots of amenities, however, you find that the hours of operation seem a bit out of touch. The pool closes at six pm, for example, and the last hotel bar closes at 10 pm. The rooms themselves are average sized, very comfortable, and clean.

“Average Hotel but will return again.”

This is our 2nd stay at The Marriott hotel. We've stayed a total of 14 nights here so far and overall I give this hotel a 4 out of 5. It may be a bit run down and needs a "face-lift" but overall they offer the basic necessities.

“Marriott Guam”

Overall the hotel was nice and conveniently located on the beach and close to shopping, restaurants, etc. The staff were kind and very helpful when needed. I would only give this hotel 4 stars because of the location but some basic amenities like a microwave were not included in the room. You have to pay for internet which should be included with a 4 star hotel. Building showed signs of wear. There were always people waiting for the elevators which were slow and some not functioning. Fitness center equipment is aged but functional. The spa is nice. Pool and kiddie pool are nice but the outside bar times are limited. This hotel is not necessarily focused on kids as there are no activities other than swimming and the beach.

“Okay hotel, but not a good feeling”

Felt sterile, not welcoming. Nice staff at front desk. Overall though, not a good feeling; restaurants expensive and limited. A good hotel, but nothing I would seek out again.

The hotel is convenient for the beach and is generally quite relaxing if you don't mind the noise from the resort next door. Overall we were pleased with the hotel, it served our purpose, a long weekend away. There is not alot to do on Guam if going for a longer period of time, if you want rest and relaxation then this is the place for you.

“Nice hotel for guam”

Stayed one week. Not up to normal Marriott standards; however, the courteous and friendly staff made it a good place to stay.
