“Great Staff ,”

The hotel was really a very nice place, with staff always willing to help. I chose this hotel over the Marriott because of the reviews I read, even though the marriott was a little more than this. However need to clarify a point here this is not your average hotel, its more of a serviced apartment , with rooms. I think one portion serves as a hotel. The only problem i faced ( and it is only me ) was the short distance from the center of town and the steep climb back to the hotel. Now this is generally not a problem, however I had a broken arm, which made it a bit difficult for me, hence it is not a negative point in general, as the walk can do you good.

The staff was amazing! So nice and willing to help. Will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Guam.

Im a basic person and my room had all my needs and thats all I needed. I had plenty of space and its walking distance from everything and I drove and it had free parking.

“Good for the price”

Compared to what else you can get on the island at this price, Oceanview is probably a good deal. It's a bit run-down (like everything else on the island) but they at least try to respond to requests to fix things. The laundry machines are fairly old and a few are broken, not to mention it's $2 for a washer and another $2 for a dryer. The pool is fairly clean and the hotel is in a fairly convenient location. We had a room on the 6th floor and the view was great. The onsite restaurant is overly expensive but everything seems geared to the Japanese customers. There are a few members of the staff who are Japanese and have fairly low English ability. The hotel was over an hour late in sending someone to pick us up from the airport even though I confirmed our arrival time the previous day. Free Wi-Fi in the lobby, free Internet access through a LAN cable in the rooms.

“Nice room, bad internet”

Room was clean and above expectations, only issue was the free in room 'broadband' internet, it was broken upon arrival, after calling the front desk it was confirmed to be broken due to a guest installing some conflicting hardware on the network, after a little luck i fixed this problem and internet worked, but it was so very slow, certainly not broadband speed as advertised. Overall i am satisfied with my stay there, but just be aware, the internet is terrible compared to other hotels in Guam.

“excellent customer service”

hotel staff cannot be beat. excellent response to all our requests in prompt, respectful and friendly manner. they took really good care of us. the hotel is older and needs a little cosmetic work but is certainly very functional. we would stay again.
