Hotel is aligned with the room ratePosted Aug 9, 2014
The hotel was a little worn down and expected by the room rate. Staff was generally helpful and the facility was acceptable based on the rate. The hotel pool needs to be maintain and clean.

The hotel is old and needs to be upgraded. I would give it an average rating if I could say that it was at least a comfortable sleep but the beds were small and hard. I gave it a below average rating. The air conditioner squeaked and kept me awake. It was cheap, as far as cheap goes in Guam standards, but I would pay a little more to have a cleaner, quieter, more comfy sleep. Great location though!!

Needs repair but perfectly functionalPosted Dec 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel needs three things: renovation, repair and facelift. It is very good value for the little money I paid, but I wouldn't have minded to pay a little bit more to fund doing up the place. Then again, the locality near the restaurants, bars and Tumon Beach is brilliant, and the room, while looking tardy, is perfectly functional. I also thought the hotel staff were all really helpful and friendly.

Close to shopping district and beach.Posted Oct 26, 2013
Pros: Location is its best attribute.
Cons: Needs to be modernized like the surrounding hotels.
Location: Beach and shopping walking distance. Brazilian BBQ, chinese, seafood and other restaurants on premises or near by.
Hotel is just OK. Cheap enough because its old and needs to be renovated. But the location is good and walking distance to some of the tourist attractions. Wifi only in lobby.

Location: WONDERFUL LOCATION!
After a long flight from starting point Las Vegas, to Seattle, Wa, to Narita , Japan to Guam,,,,,,,I finally reached my hotel at the Pacific Bay Hotel. My reservations were from the 18th September thru the 26th Sept (check out). I arrived early 19th due to after midnight arrival from Japan. I checked in and found the room warm, felt like the airconditioning was not really blowing....I telephoned from my room and I was assured it would be working better later in the morning, after 9am the front desk person told me. I did not sleep too well, however, I could not do anything about this. I took care of my business away from the hotel during the day. I returned to the hotel. The airconditioning was still not cooling the room and again I called the front desk, same answer, it is being worked on. ,,,,,THIS IS AN OLD RUN-DOWN HOTEL WITH OLD WORN OUT "WET DOG" SMELLY CARPETING, WITH ELEVATOR THAT MAY OR MAY NOT WORK AND LIMITED STAFF (1 FRONT DESK PERSON AND 1 SECURITY PERSON FOR THE WHOLE HOTEL) On the evening of the 20th I demanded a refund and asked for the manager. It was over the phone that I was told that I would be refunded. I spent the night with all my belongings at an office room lent to me by a friend. I found another hotel for the remainder of my stay on Guam.

Very run down but close to the beachPosted Aug 29, 2013
Cons: Everything you can think of.
Location: Close to the beach, restaurants and shopping centers.
Hotel is a dump. We know we get what we paid for but this one is worst than expected. Carpet is dirty and sticky, airconditioning not working properly it felt like forced air. Beds are very worn out. Bathroom is dirty. So, for those who wants a relaxing trip, this is not the hotel for you.

Great experiencePosted Aug 6, 2013
Cons: More amenities for the rooms. There wasn't a microwave, iron, hair dryer, robes, or toothpaste/toothbrush available, and the lighting was very dim.
Location: There are several restaurants, stores, and bars nearby as well as a bus station to take you around.
I booked 2 rooms for my wedding but didn't have the chance to relax in it because we were so busy. It was peaceful and quiet, close to everything. Price was awesome and staff was helpful. Our rooms didn't have an iron/iron board, you had to go out to the laundry room but it wasn't far away. I would definitely stay there again.
