Allegro Papagayo All Inclusive

The hotel was clean and very pleasing. The staff was excellent. The bay at the hotel was filled with sea erchants that we were not told about and my wife stepped on them twice and received 6 stings or needles that had to be removed by the doctor. You had to take a 10 minute boat ride to get to a beach to swim and that did not have sea erchants. The staff was great and very accomodating. The food was not that good. It was a hit and miss at the restaurants. The best meal we received was in the Mexican Restaurant.

Recently paint the pool and restaurant areas, good hotel, good food.

Great place. Gorgeous views. Black sand is pretty cool. Nice and seculted. No smoking anywhere on the resort other than the beach. Pool is HUGE. And monkeys :).

The first night I had a terrible night as the AC's sound was like a truck and I wasn't able to sleep at all so I had to turn it off and use the fan only... the mini fridge was not working either, the staff told me that the mini fridge is for keeping stuff cool only (???)

I was looking for a place to rest and charge my batteries for working again and I found the perfect place at Allegro Papagayo. Excellent hotel facilities, staff, food. Everything was fine. I really enjoyed my stay there and I definitely will recommend this place to other people.

this is a budget hotel but you receive a lot more for the money you pay, problably they need to improve the rooms, special the bathroom, but the staff is nice, the food is good, tghe pool is nice, is not the grn papagayo but is ok.

It was not at all worth the price. We are vegetarians & we barely got any stuff to eat even though it was all inclusive. Swimming pool was very dirty & beach was also full of litter. Not at all worth it.

I just stayed there for Easter with my husband and 2 year old girl and we really love it. The room had amazing views of the Golfo de Papagayo, the hotel staff was super friendly, the pool was perfect with different ambiances either for kids, couples, more relaxing... The food was good, the beach is perfect for kids, and the area itself is great. We went to Nacazcolo with the boat provided by the hotel and had a lovely day at the beach club, the staff there was also excellent. The show at night for kids was great, maybe a little late for the smallest ones as it was difficult for my baby to be up at that time, probably 15 minutes earlier would had been perfect. For families with no kids or couples, the adults show is latter (never able to see it because the baby felt sleep jeje). We went to see Coco beach one day and it took about 1 hour driving, but you can pass through Hermosa and Playa Panama area and the scenarios are great. I want to come back as we had an amazing time. We took an offer through Expedia and everything was great with that too.

Upon arrival, we found our room needed a little work. The toilet seat was very loose, the shower handle fell off, and the refrigerator is just a cooler. The first 2 items were fixed right away. There was no iron or coffee pot in the room. Not enough options for eating or drinking. On the up side, the grounds are beautiful and I had fun.

We really loved our time! The staff was wonderful , food was good weather was great ! We liked how it was off on its own not in the center of the hussel and bushel
