“Great Experience in Ocotal”

Just returned after 4 days at Bahia Pez Vela Resort and would highly recommend. Villa had 3 large, comfortable bedrooms, 3 baths, kitchen and large living area...very comfortable. We are picky about cleanliness and no complaints. Staff was no problem. Great private beach. Restaurant was very convienient and was good for the area. Really nice for a family. Saw no other place in the area that I would rather stay. Would return tomorrow!!

“Wished we had a longer stay.”

Our accommodations were beautifully decorated, well equipped and very spacious. Nice amenities and gorgeous view. We only stayed 2 nights so we couldn't take advantage of the many things to do in the area but we enjoyed the lovely private beach, pools, and nice restaurant. I would definitely stay here again.

“Loved it and can't wait to return”

What a beautiful beach! We were traveling with 4 young children, the surf was calm enough for even the youngest to play. The beach was clean, beautiful and extremely private as one would need to come by boat to enter if not staying in the condo's. In late Aug we had not only the beach but the pool and restaurant to ourselves. The driving directions could have been more specific after passing the dive shop but we did find it (eventually). The condo we were in had everything we needed from extra pillows to a blender and the grocery store was only 15 minutes away. While the sheets were not 1,000 thread count the a/c worked great, the kitchen was spacious, everyone had back to back hot showers and they never ran out of clean towels to take to the beach. We left wishing we had stayed longer.

“Great Place & Great Location”

This was not a hotel. It was a 3 bedroom villa that had it's own beach, pool and resturant. The views from the villas high on the cliff were amazing, especially the sunsets.

We booked this trip for only 4 nights due to time constraints. It was worth it and we wished that we had more time to spend in Costa Rica and at Bahia Pez Vela. The staff went out of their way to be helpful no matter where you were on the resort. The food and waitpersons at the restaurant were excellent - try the paella. The private beach and the pools were clean and relaxing. The road to the resort was an adventure but what the heck.

We spent a week at Bahia Pez Vela to celebrate our boys' graduations - one from high school and one from college. It was exactly as pictured online! We stayed in #21 and it was clean and comfortable with beautiful views. The staff was very helpful with recommending tours and places to eat, etc. I would love to come back with extended family, it would make a wonderful destination for a family reunion.
