“Going back ASAP!”

Everything about arco iris was great. A walking distance from the beach and all the local spots. Very clean room and the staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Coco and Richard made sure we were always content and always telling us good morning. The restaurant at arco iris was the best food we had in all of Tamarindo. Stay here, you will be glad you did!

“Fantastic Boutique Hotel in Tamarindo”

If you are looking for an intimate hotel with a personal touch, I would highly recommend staying at the Hotel Arco Iris. The owner, Richard, was incredibly helpful, the petite bungalows are beautifully appointed and romantic, and the staff is warm and welcoming. With just 10 rooms, Arco Iris truly makes you feel at home, in the most exotic way possible. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay and would love to go back again.

“A Nice Tamarindo Boutique Hotel”

Hotel Arco Iris is a boutique hotel (roughly 10 rooms) about 500m walk from the beaches/centre of Tamarindo. The people in terms of ownership/checkin were very helpful. (Im fact the owner drove me to the Tamarindo airport when I asked his help in ordering a cab. (my Spanish is minimal). Not a place with lots of services (it only has 10 rooms) but the internet works and it has a nice poolside restaurant and a very nice morning breakfast.

“Great hotel”

Hello, we just got back from Costa Rica a week ago and this hotel was the nicest one we stayed in. All of the hotels in Costa Rica we choose were great and affordable, but this hotel was newly renovated and more luxurious than the others. The bathrooms were very nice and the interior design was very island chic. It's a few minutes from the beach, but it's not that bad of a walk and you pass bars and shops along the way. The hotel itself is tucked away so there isn't any noise at night from the town right there. We didn't get a chance to eat dinner there, but the menu looked great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

“Can't wait to return”

The hotel was centrally located to many restaurants and the beach. There's also a market and several banks nearby. The owner, Richard, and the rest of the staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was perfect and we had "wild visitors" that would stop in to say good morning. Our room was clean and comfortable. The shower was very refreshing at the end of a long day hiking through the rainforest.

“Great, Small Hotel”

This hotel keeps true to the feeling of Tamarindo. It's small and well maintained. A short walk through town leads you to the beach and shops and the owner is very helpful.

“A GEM and the best deal in Tamarindo”

After spending one month in Costa Rica I can definitely say this was one of the best hotels I stayed in, and by far the best value. Richard, the manager and owner, has pride in his hotel, and takes excellent care of his guests and property. It is beautifully situated, an oasis in the midst of a bustling and dusty Tamarindo. I highly recommend!

“Hidden Gem”

Just got back from a stay at Arco Iris (Nov 21-25). It's a great place. Clean!!! and generally quiet with a good mix of guests. The staff is absolutely the best. Good breakfast with table service on the patio. Pool is small, but clean and very cold. Seasons restaurant on site is not to be missed. We ate dinner there every night and it was an unforgettable treat. There is a small restaurant/bar next door with good food and a grocery down the street toward the beach for stocking the in-room mini fridge. There are a variety of different room setups, but only 9 rooms total. Our room was decent sized with large shower, flat screen tv and a hammock outside the door. No smoking inside the rooms was a definite plus.

“Pot of gold at the end of the Arco-Iris!”

Arco-Iris is the place to be while in tamarindo, friendly staff and great food. I stayed in suite #10 and it was very clean and convenient. I love waking up to bird singing. Wi-fi worked out of the room and the A/C is cold and quiet. A+ to Richard and his crew. Thank you !
