“Would recommend”

This hotel was very beautiful, safe and clean. My only complaint was that the bed was really uncomfortable. My favorite thing about this hotel was the staff. We stopped by at the hotel bar every night just because we had such a fun time with the bartenders and wait staff ( Alexander and Roger ). They taught us so much about the Costa Rican culture. The pool was clean and quiet. The location of the hotel was awesome. We were central to all the shopping, restaurants and beach.

“garden of Eden”

Hotel is small, clean and close to the beach. We did change room to a better one, the standard rooms are not good, you can only see the ocean from a few rooms. No swim up bar or hot tub, both closed. Bartender Alex makes wonderful drinks, staff is great. Food is hit or miss, some things are wonderful, breakfast is the same every morning,

“Old Rooms but a GREAT stay!!”

The rooms were disappointing. They need a make over, old. The location and Pool & Restaurant are FANTASTIC!

“Not such a great spot, average.”

Basically, this is an average hotel. The photos on the hotel site do not truly represent the rooms, and the bathrooms are in serious need of an upgrade - our room was not cleaned until 4 pm daily and the front desk staff was reluctant to provide us with towels. Breakfast is the same meal each day.

“Just OK!”

The hotel grounds, the pool and the restaurant are great, but the rooms are old and need a major update. We stayed in room number 2 and it smelled like mold. The bedding was yellow and the bathroom had no fan or any type of ventilation. On top of all of this the shower cutrtain was too short and every time we would take a shower the bathroom floor was soaked with water. There was no view from the room, basically you are looking at some bushes ( although we paid for superior room and were promised a pool or garden view ). Service is excellent and the drinks and food are very affordable and good too. (Better then most of the places in town.) The hotel serves breakdfast daily...eggs, rice and beans and fresh fruit. Not a huge selection, but better then nothing. I would not stay at this hotel again....room comfort is poor and like I said before, rooms are old and smelly.

“Customer Service Awful unpleasant and unfriendly”

The grounds of the hotel are beautiful however customer service was awful and I would never recommend staying in a hotel where staff are just RUDE!!!
