A great place to relaxPosted Sep 18, 2013
Pros: Location, service, cleanliness, convenience, peaceful atmosphere.
Cons: Hard to think of anything.
Location: Samara beach, Carrillo beach, Spanish school, Flying Crocodile air tour, surfing, beach-side dining, quad/4-wheeler & motorbike rentals
The hotel staff was very helpful in arranging transportation to/from the airport even before we arrived. Our check-in was quick and the room was very comfortable. The room was very clean and the housekeeper kept it spotless while we were there. The restaurant in the hotel had excellent food and service, which we sampled every morning and a few evenings. The ambiance of the pool and the garden also contributed to the relaxing environment. The hotel is conveniently situated in the center of town, but we didn't hear a lot of traffic in our room. That location was very convenient for catching the inter-city bus to Carrillo and Nicoya, as well as to rent a car, a motorbike, or a 4-wheeler. The beach is a 2-minute walk from the hotel and along the beach are a variety of other hotels and beach-side bars and restaurants. The TV in the room was a bit dated, but the WiFi was great.

No hot waterPosted Jul 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
Overall fine. Except no hot water that evening after getting caught in the rain hot shower to wash your hair would have been nice. There was not a phone to call the front desk regarding the problem. I would suggest that you test the water to make sure it is hot if that is important. Breakfast was three choices and was very good. Good location Samara is a small town everything in walking distance.

Perfect place in SamaraPosted Jun 3, 2013
Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Just a short walk to the beach. The hotel is in a very good location and has a nice Italian restaurant. The owner is very friendly and likes to meet and talk to each and every guest. I will stay here again the next time I'm in Samara.

One of the nicest hotels in SamaraPosted May 31, 2013
The breakfast is great, especially the pancakes. The location is good, about a 5 min walk to supermarket, beach and around the corner from the public bus stop. very safe area. The pool is very small, but there is a jacuzzi as well.

Pleasant SurprisePosted May 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
I have a place I stay at while in Samara. Fortunately it was booked as I hopped on Hotels.com and found this little gem. They do have a small fly issue in the restaurant.. But a little water in a zip-lock suspended.. would take care of that issue.. Ask for a room in the back next to the big pool!! We will be back!

The hotel is nice and clean, they can improve the breakfast menu but it was also ok. I enjoyed our stay there, I would choose this place again.

Average, but better than others in areaPosted Apr 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
I think we overpaid a little for this hotel stay, but looking around, it seemed this hotel was better than most in the area for this price range. There are two pools although on the one in the back seems to get more use. The breakfast is good, and the hotel restaurant in general is pretty fantastic.
