Pros: The pool and the staff. It felt very safe.
Cons: No complaints.
Location: Very convenient to everything. Walking distance!
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurant and bars. Yet the hotel was very quiet.

Pros: Great bright rooms with good bedding. My bathroom had great traditional tile work from the region.
Cons: Not much... limited parking near the hotel. But we finally found a spot in front of the hotel and walked the rest of our stay.
Location: Location is not bad, kind of tucked away from the main hustle and bustle of the beach but still close enough you can tote your stuff to the beach.
Close to the beach with a great little boutique tiki vibe. This is a great little spot to drop your bags and chill for a couple of days if you don't mind finding your own way around. Just a couple blocks from the beach and all that Tamarindo has to offer. Clean, bright rooms with great air conditioning and comfortable beds and bedding. This is a great find for those who don't need a big full service resort with full service prices. They have a nice little open air bar and restaurant nestled in among the palms and swimming pool. Just a note... the staff is friendly but the office closes at 8PM and reopens in the morning. I think the management lives on property and can make accommodations to take care of your needs. But, if you're one that needs a phone in your room with instant access to service, this is not your place!!

Location: Great if you like to be in the middle of everything. The same time if you like to relax by the pool and listen to the birds you can do it!
Great location! Walking distance to the beach (5 mins), restaurants, bars. Very nice and helpful staff. Very nice landscaping

Pros: The pool in the middle of the hotel.
Cons: Needs a few more shade umbellas around the pool.
Location: Just a short walk to everything. It was very nice not to be right inside the beach area. Made it feel more like we had everything to ourselves.
This hotel was perfect. It was like a little oasis in the town of Tamarindo. Just a short walk to the beach and other restaurants, bars, and shops. The staff were wonderful with anything you needed. They helped set up tours for us all at good prices. I would go back in a flash.

Pros: Good little breakfast, central pool, clean. I recommend.
Location: 5-minute walk to beach, set a little back, but Tamarindo is not a very large city. Great town, good surfing, activities - wonderful time.
Nice comfortable place, staff works hard, clientele is respectable - would return.

Pros: Location
Pasatiempo lived up to expectations. All the reviews I read were accurate. It really is a laid back place to thaw out from the winter here in Delaware. The party on Wednesday night was fun. I liked the location just outside of the busy part of town, but still a short walk to the beach and restaurant/bars. The pool was very nice with shady areas to get out of the sun. Randy was very helpful and friendly. He answered all my questions, and set up some activities for us. I would stay here again.

Wonderful atmosphere

The hotel was in a great location, just off the main road so it wasn't noisy but close enough to walk to everything. The swimming pool was wonderful and centrally located so you got to see and meet everyone at the hotel. The staff was overly nice and helped us with any questions we had. My only complaint was the beds - they were rock hard. I also loved how each room has a front patio with chairs to sit out in so you didn't feel confined to your room at all.
