“Perfect location! Great Staff!”

At first I was upset because the hotel wasn't fully booked and I had made a reservation weeks earlier and they still gave us the LAST room at the far end of the hotel. I felt like I was sent to the butt of the hotel. But after sleeping perfectly every night during our stay, enjoying the perfect complimentary breakfast for long days of exploring beaches and being treated so well by all the hotel staff we were sure we had made the right choice. The hotel is located SUPER close to the center of the town of tamarindo, which makes it walking distance to a bustling night life, but also far enough to be able to get a good nights sleep. Walking distance to the beach and the staff is really helpful about helping you get around other beaches that are close by. I would definetly come back!! Although I must make the warning, our room had lots of ants, and they were sort of big. They didn't bother us at all but some people might not be as tolerant.

This hotel is a great place to sun bathe around the pool with some privacy. It's a perfect place for singles or cupples and families . The staff speaks very good english and are very helpfull with all my needs. The hotel has a modern clean look. My bed was a little hard but that was the only thing I did'nt like. Over all I would definitely go back.

Good hotel, nice swimming pool, confortable rooms, nice staff people (that are willing to do anything you ask for). Good brakfast options.

Great service, hotel vouchers for an amazing bakery breakfast. Within walking distance to everything in town. Dont lose the hotel key though, $10 for a new one haha. We would go back in a heartbeat. Enjoy your stay!

“Hotel Oueblo Dorado - Quiet/Affordable”

Hotel Pueble Dorado is a great Tamarindo Hotel, and much more affordable than some of the more visible lodging in town. It's at the start of the main section of town. The staff is extremely friendly, and the rooms are spotless after the staff is done with them each day. If you plan to surf, just know that your surfboard is not allowed in your room. It will have to be locked inside an outdoor surfboard cage. The pool is great, and there are huge murals on either side that keep you in the tropical mood if you decide to relax for a few hours away from the beaches.

My wife and I have stayed here our last 3 trips to Tamarindo. It is a quiet Hotel within walking distance to the main area of town. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

pueblo dorado was a great place to stay. All the people were very friendly and the wildlife that surrounded us was amazing. It was only a short distance from the beach and town. The breakfast provided to us was awesome. I would definately recommend this to anyone else.

“Nice, but a bit expensive”

Nice location, with easy access to the beach. However, it seemed a bit overpriced, especially because there is no restaurant or cafe/breakfast at the hotel.

Nice little hotel, the rooms are small, and the bathroom doors are angled vents, so they are super not provide. They could do better to change the doors on the bathrooms to the rooms. Otherwise its alright, not a far walk into town, maybe 10 minutes. Its pretty cheap though, so you get what you pay for.
