Was a overall ok time watch your possessions the cleaning women take small items laid out. There is so many hills and stairs around the resort try to stay as close to the lobby as you can. If you want to venture out you have to take a cab everything is 30 minutes away besides amnesia bar which sucks. The food is decent breakfast isn't that good but they have reservations to their restaurants and the food is really good they do a good job. They have everything you need at the resort but I like to explore places on my own and it just was so far from everything staff is super friendly though. Not a lot of animals besides birds and lizards and the beach is just ok water not as clear as you would expect. Overall I had a decent time but if you like to just stay in the resort the whole time then it's a nice place to go.

But what the rooms lacked the staff made up for . Staff extremely help full and very friendly, lots of activities on the premises and very helpful arranging tours. Food was ok I'm very picky but my husband enjoyed the food

Pros: I could go on about how bad the hotel was about but there wasn't any room.... Nothing
Cons: update the hotel, get a better chef, get staff that speaks english, this hotel is 20 years old and one of the oldest on the island.
Location: Coco Beach is dirty, not worth going to for shopping but some good places to eat. The beaches are okay, I've seen better.
Where to begin except to say that I wanted to leave within the first 24 hours. The front desk staff is horrible, communicating with them with difficult, the vendors on the beach and staff at the local spots outside the resort spoke better English. When we arrived we had to wait over an hour for our room (which was only going to be a few minutes as per the girl at the front desk), finally after my third inquiry I spoke to the manager who called the staff cleaning the room and it was finally ready. Our shower leaked all over the floor every time we used it, the mirror in the bathroom looked like someone wiped it with a greasy towel, I tried to clean it but it wouldn't come off. I requested extra hangers b/c there were only 4 in the closet and the person never came back with them. I had to call the front desk and request them a second time. The resort is run down overall, the pool needs to be updated (chipped tiles, dirty cement, faded and broken chairs at the pool and on the beach). Only1 waiter at the pool to bring drinks for at least 75-100 people. There is a drink hunt near the beach but half the time the waiter doesn't come down to the beach to get your order and if he does he may not come back. The FOOD IS TERRIBLE at the buffet and in all the restaurants. We went to the Asian restaurant one night and food awful, I order the tuna and it was white and smelled like it was old and tasted worst (I spit it out and sent it back). We ate out every night after that.

The hotel had a great location with beach access but it was not the level of luxury I was expecting. Our room had a phenomenal view but it could have used a good scrubbing and a coat of paint. The food was also disappointing. I was expecting more regional options and instead it was a poor attempt at American food in a foreign country. I will admit though, I was impressed that they used name brand liquor in their all inclusive drinks.

Went with friends to verify the hotel for my Wedding, ended up paying in advance for it. Loved the staff (special thanks to Carlos Limon!), the hotel is quiet and relaxing, food great, beach has rocks but its private.

Location: There are not many activities on site, I would recommend doing tours or taking a taxi to the next town.
This is a decent hotel, the staff is so friendly and accommodating. Lots of stairs, make sure to learn the short cuts when you arrive.

A wonderful experience! A great location. Friendly and courteous staff. Room was in good condition. Had every kind of drink we wanted. However, it was a struggle to get a bottled water at times. Would like to see the all inclusive include easy access to bottled water. Everything else was great! Thank you!

Adriana who is in charge of the activities is the best. She mad everything fun and enjoyable. She would go out of her way to make sure every guest is having the best time possible.

Staff is wonderful and very generous with amenities and a regular supply of alcohol. However, the food is rather poor and wifi is nearly useless...slow and terrible coverage. Housekeeping is not great...frequently items were not replenished, even after calling and asking. All that being said, we would go back! The price was great so it's just a matter of managing the your expectations while you are there. As an aside, some people were being asked to sit through a vacation club presentation. We were not, so I don't know if they agreed to it as part of a better price, but our price was already really great so I don't know. I'd recommend keeping an eye on what you're agreeing to before you go.
