“Beautiful, Awesome Hotel”

I stayed in Pacific Park with 11 of my classmates on our spring break trip. We spent five nights in two of the three-bedroom suites. The condos were beautiful and modern, boasting plenty of open space, state-of-the-art appliances, large windows, and enormous balconies. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms were superb. The hotel is not situated directly on the beach, but is a mere 3 minute walk away. This was not a problem since all of the beach was open to the public, so we were able to walk up and down the Tamarindo beach to find the perfect place to relax and enjoy the waves. Tamarindo itself is quite touristy, so to avoid the expensive restaurant fare we made use of the fully equipped kitchens in Pacific Park. We bought most of our groceries at a small supermarket across the street, though we did make the 20 minute walk to the larger automercado at the edge of town once to acquire better produce. Overall, our experience at Pacific Park was wonderful. The staff was friendly and accessible, though the office was only open from 10-4 daily and you had to ask there for most things. The facilities and furnishings in the hotel were top notch, though the gym was sparse. However, we definitely didn't go to Costa Rica to run on a treadmill! I highly recommend this hotel to future travelers, whether going on a family vacation, romantic getaway, or spring break bash.

“perfect”

beautiful. spacious rooms. convenient location in town and to beach. Loved it. only thing missing was hair driers in bathrooms. Noise complaints that i read on other reviews were overstated. Some noise -yes- but easily drowned out by white noise of a/c.

“Thanksgiving 2012 in Tamarindo”

Pacific Park Tamarindo Nice, well maintained condo property less than quarter mile from most of the best restaurants in Tamarindo. We were on the fourth floor oceanside that put us right near the top of the canopy (trees). You should have oceanviews floor 5 and above. Unfortunately we could not see the ocean thru the trees. We had no problem with noise from local clubs.The property is about one block from the main street and 150 to 200 yards from the beach at the southern end of town. We were there seven night over Thanksgiving and it was dusty when making the transition to main street. Beaches are long, wide, flat and well maintained. Sunsets are fantastic.

“Stunning views, great location.”

The view on the ocean side was stunning! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach, stores and restaurants are no more than a 5 minute walk from Pacific Park, making it a great location. If we go to Tamarindo again, we wouldn't stay anywhere else!

“Great place to stay, better than most hotels.”

Great place to stay. Neighborhood bar has nightly party which was very loud for several nights in a row we were there. Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were very modern and beautiful. Close to everything in Tamarindo. Would reccomend highly over regular hotels...this place delivers despite the noisy neighborhood bar.

“Terrfic place to stay!”

We were so pleased with the accomodations and the staff - including office, cleaners, and security personnel. There are a few evenings during the week when nearby bars have live music that can disturb light sleepers, yet it's not each night and it doesn't seem any particular location of room would avoid it. But we would definitely stay there again. Tamarindo is a lot of fine, great restaurants to choose from, delightful beach and fun day trips. Staff is very helpful making reservations and offering advice. And if you're into yoga, there's an awesome studio just across the street with a highly qualified instructor.

“A great place away from home”

My wife and I were more than pleased with every aspect of the complex. We would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in Tamarindo. The staff were very helpful in answering any questions we had. We were there during the earthquake and the staff were more than helpful to make us as comfortable as possible.

“Great place, but won't stay here again”

Excellent place, but very noisy. We couldn't sleep till 2 a.m. because of the noise from surrounding bars.

“Peaceful stay at Pacific Tamarindo”

Pacific Park Tamarindo is a lovely, high-end condo building. From the 24/7 front gate guard to the office personnel everybody was helpful, personable and a delight to work with. We would highly recommend this residence to families, couples and business travelers also.

“Better than a hotel”

If you want to stay in a home-away-from-home and not a hotel, stay here. It's clean, the staff if friendly and helpful and it's more covenient than a hotel. We could eat meals in our room and we had tons of space. The closets are huge and the bathrooms are modern. The 7th floor offers the best ocean views in Tamarindo. In addition, everything in Tamarindo is within walking distance, a car is not necessary. Don't hesitate to book here.
