Condo near the beach

Posted Feb 6, 2014
Pros: Location on ground level was great. Access to pool area and grounds from ground level was a definite plus. Pool area pleasant and well kept.Very quiet
Cons: Basically just some new furnishings. Need directions on using safe. A/C for sure could be modernized.
Location: Great central location to beach, shops, restaurants. Gated complex was quiet and safe. Short walk to anything you need.
Condo was roomy, but in need of upgrades. Starting to show it's age. Needs new A/C, bed mattresses, window blinds, new toilet and vanity. Furniture older and well used, yet reasonably functional. Kitchen utensils well used. Stove okay. New stainless steel fridge. Nice roomy working area kitchen. Just on the edge of value for the cost involved but considering area, maybe as good as you may find !

Location was great

The condo complex was great. Location was perfect. Our condo was not. Unit #9, where we stayed, is in need of renovation. Beds/mattresses were horrible, The second bathroom/shower did not function properly. The employees were very helpful & kind.

Best deal in Tamarindo

Posted Dec 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
This was absolutely the best plan for vacationing with another couple in Tamarindo. I was worried it might be really substandard compared to the more expensive Hotel Diria or Jardin de Eden, but it outshone them both. Also we had a full kitchen with everything we needed, which saved on the expensive prices in Tamarindo for food. The unit was 2 bed, 2 bath, with kitchen, dining, living room and amazing balcony. It was a little tricky to locate. It is behind the strip mall with Matt's surf shop and a couple of realty offices. The vacation rental office is where you should check in, but since we arrived late, everything was waiting for us at the security booth. I understand units have different owners and some may not be as nice as others, but I don't think our could be beat. It was unit 22.

Nice condo very close to the center

Posted Aug 6, 2013
I went there with my girlfriend and my parents and we had a great time. The facilities are very new and well maintained. The staff was really nice. Even though its price is above average what you get from it really compensates. Is a good place to go have a good time and relax.

Close to everything

This was a great place overall. We stayed in #26 and there were a few things that didn't work (all the fans and the telephone) and some of the kitchen stuff was really old, but over all the unit was clean, modern and comfortable. It is located right in the middle of Tamarindo across the street from the beach. The price as compared to hotel rooms was so much cheaper. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice condo but poor communication by management

Posted Jun 27, 2013
Pros: It has a nice swimming pool.
Cons: The management can show more professionalism.
The condo was close to Tamarindo Beach, shops, and restaurants. It had a beautiful ocean view too. Everything seemed great until the day our water got cut off. No one called or came to explain to us what was going on. After waiting for a few hours without being able to flush the toilets, wash our hands, or cook food, we went and asked the guards, but they couldn't provide us the information we needed but simply told us that the maintenance person was working on it. After returning to the condo, we called the phone number for the manager in the office to inquire more information. The manager explained that there was some problem with the utility company but the water should be back on in an hour. Well... the water was not back on in an hour. The water didn't come back until the next day. When it finally ran, it was brown. We didn't even know that the water was not safe to use until we spotted a note near the stairs. We were extremely disappointed by how the management handled the situation. We could have gotten seriously ill, not to mention losing hours of our vacation time waiting around.

Sunrise Condos

Posted May 21, 2013
Nice, large rooms. Kitchen was great to have after having eaten out for past two weeks. Reasonably inexpensive for what you get. Clean and cozy place to stay right across from the beach. Great ocean view from units above the second floor. Pool was great place to hang around except waterfall was only turned on from around 12 till 5.

Condo #48 was incredible! The patio was great for lounging and checking out the views. We had lots of space too. The location was the best. Good pool too. Amazing views! Only great things to say
