Nice hotel in downtown of San Miguel de Allende

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: Everything. It is really a charming hotel.
Cons: The bathroom door. The lock was broken, but not big deal. The doors are antiques and heavy so they closed without locking
Location: Excellent. Near to everything
We had a very positive experience. The hotel is beautiful and well decorated in a traditional Mexican style. The suites had a kitchen and a nice living room. The bathrooms are clean and have a drier which is a plus. It has microwave and stove. A big refrigerator. It has internet but you have to be close to the window or leave to the patio to get connected. Not a big deal because it is a small cute hotel. We want to come back and stay in the same hotel. My husband did not want to leave. It is just a couple blocks from the main church of San Miguel. There is an store next door the hotel. Perfect to get a drink or snack. The hotel does not have a parking lot. We parked the car on the street which was ok. The area around is very safe and we did not have to pay for parking the car in front of the hotel.

Large rooms in a convenient and quiet location

Posted Dec 9, 2014
Pros: The location, room size and terrace. Good internet.
Cons: I didn't like having to ring a bell to be let in. Our room was rather dark. There was no parking.
This hotel is located within 300 yards of the center of town making it central for walking but far enough away that the church bells were not a problem. Our room was huge with a separate seating area and kitchen. If only I had friends here I could have had a dinner party! Lovely roof top terrace with sunset views was a bonus.

Excelente ubicación, muy cercana del centro

Posted Nov 20, 2014

Great hotel

San Miguel de Allende is a magical place, and the hotel fits right in with the ambience and colorfullness of the town. -great staff - it's not a Hilton but if you prefer that don't come to San Miguel. You will miss the fun. And this is important bring confortable shoes, women can use high hills at destination but need confortable shoes to walk on the rock walkways and streets.

More Apartment than Suite

Posted Sep 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
We were surprised by the size of this "suite". It was actually an apartment with a well-furnished kitchen. Just a few block walk to the central jardin. Lovely place.
