Great place, great food, great views, great staff

Posted Jan 24, 2015
Pros: Clean, roomy, safe, great views and food.
Cons: Nothing!!!
Location: Lots of interesting sites and information on accessing them available at the Casa , this location reminded us of Venice and San Francisco sans water!!
Would recommend this place to anyone that wants high quality food and accommodation. Like Guanajuato, this place is not set up for those who cant handle stairs, it is a beautiful site and setting,in very steep terrain. Will return for sure if we ever make it back here.

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Cons:

Una casa mexicana muy confortable.

Posted Dec 30, 2014

Wonderful Experience.

Posted Dec 1, 2014
Pros: The whole package in our experience, plus the spacious & clean rooms and hotel.
Cons: Keep up the good work Rick
Location: Wonderful location. Most everything with in walking distance.
Great owner, rooms, location, breakfast, view, and other guests. Rick (the owner) must screen his guests, as what a great diverse group for breakfast. When you stay here, book extra days, to spend in this wonderful city. The Jardin (just a few minutes away) is the best in Mexico. We loved our stay.

Amazing spot on top of it all!

Posted Nov 29, 2014
We had a bit of a hard time trying to find the place. Our gps was not working with all the amazing tunnels in Guanajuato. However, once we found it, we came across an amazing place on top of Guanajuato next to the popular statue. Our host was one of the most welcoming and friendly people we've ever met. He is super knowledgable and have us hundreds of good tips on what to do. He also has decorated the place with really cool murals and art that tell stories about Guanajuato! By all means listen to all of his stories! They are amazing. The room was big with a bathroom en suite and amazing views from the balcony. Breakfast was delicious as well. We were only there one night but we'd come back to casa Zuniga in a heartbeat next time we are back in Guanajuato.

UNFORGETFUL EXPERIENCE

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: The hospitality, the comfort of the room, and more.
Perhaps a little hard to find, but once there, you are cocooned in the hospitality of Rick and Carmen Zuniga. Breakfast is over the top. Riding the funicular to town from their place is fun. I highly recommend it.

Casa Zuñiga close to the funicular and Pipila.

Posted Oct 21, 2014
We stayed in Casa Zuñiga from October 15-20 and we really enjoyed every second in that house. Rick and Sra. Carmen are an excellent couple who made us feel very welcomed. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Carmen, Karina, Irma, Juanita and Martin were more than excellent helping us in any questions we had and keeping the property nice and clean. The property is very well located, within a few steps from el Pipila Monument, and a few minutes from the funicular(Rick gave us a free card for the funicular) We highly recommend this property and definitely we are planning to go back soon. Thank you, Rick and Sra. Carmen.
