“Modern hotel in Guanajuato”
Some hotels in Guanajuato confusing the term "Colonial" with old and no maintenance. This is a modern and a comfortable hotel with a good cuisine. The only bad point is that is kind of far from downtown.
“Very nice hotel and I would absolutely go back.”
The hotel was very nice and clean, the only thing was that the pool was kind of dirty and it got worse as the days went, we couldn't even swim because it is kind of small for that big hotel.
“Good choice for families with kids”
Excellent stay, the hotel is very nice and clean, breakfast was good too, it's not located downtown so it's kind of new, it has a nice indoor pool.
“Guanajuato Holiday Inn”
Hotel was very clean and spacious. I would definitely recommend this to anyone on vacation. It is a 10 minute bus ride away from the downtown area, or a cheap cab ride away.
“Highly Recommend”
Although my stay was for one night it was a pleasant expierence. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and quality of the hotel. The Hotel amenities were above my expectations, they provided us with complimentry toiletries such as laundry detergent and free washer and dryer usage. The staff was wonderful and provided fantastic customer service. I almost did not want to leave. Yes it is out of the main center of Guanajuato however a $3.00 taxi drive is all it took. We did stay in the main center later on and I recommend if you appreciate a goods night sleep you may want to stay on the outskirts in order to avoid the non-stop party scene into the wee hours of the morning
“Service not good”
Hotel and amenties were OK, but had some service issues... No drinkable water in rooms(thought all of these hotels had), wanted to charge extra for water. Normally a couple are free and the rest are sold, but here no free water. Cleaning lady came late around 4:00pm and said she wouldn't come back later on, Receptionist said she could of come back later (1 says no, other says yes). Pool closed at 8:00pm, which was the time we normally came back. We argued that there was no sign that stated this and they showed us a small sign that was posted where it couldn't be seen. We normally stay at "these" hotels and thought we knew what we were getting, but this particular one, left us very dissatisfied.
