It was Ok, but no hot waterPosted Jun 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
The good: Clean hotel, comfortable location, nice welcome. The Bad: Bed was hard, no hot water in the morning (ran out?), and breakfast was understaffed. Bottom line: Fine to stay at, but not my first choice for the area if I were on vacation.

Nice comfortable accommodations.Posted Jun 9, 2013
Pros: Quiet and comfortable.
Cons: Tea selection. More variety of foods, we stayed a week and the same scrambled eggs day after day gets old. Add some Pancakes and French Toast.
Location: Hit the town for photos!
Everything about this place was fine. My only complaint which may not be a concern to most guests was the lack of Black Tea in the breakfast buffet. They had many other teas, just no black. Also, I like to use a washcloth in the shower and they don't provide those either.

Thank you. We really enjoyed our time at this hotel. We especially are grateful to have a chapel for our Mass. Definitely we will book this hotel again next time.

Gross!!!!!Posted Apr 29, 2013
Pros: Wouldn't recommend this hotel
When I arrived at the Holiday Inn Express, I wasn't expecting a 5 star hotel but I did expect something CLEAN and comfortable. HUGE disappointement. Bath tub had hairs all over it (gross!!). Towels were old and ragged. Carpets were dirty (not vacuumed). The cherry on the ice cream? As I was taking a bath, the power went off. Power plant kicked in about 30 seconds later buuuuuuuutt......the water pumps were not connected to the power plant so I was left with no water in the shower in the middle of my bath... Really bad experience. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice HotelPosted Apr 2, 2013
Location: Area is nice and quiet. A bit far from all the action from historic center.
Very nice and neat hotel. The breakfast buffet was good. It is about 10 minute bus drive to historic center. Very close to bus station. If you don't mind paying for taxis to take back and forth or if you don't mind taking the local bus, the hotel is great.
Perfect Hotel w/ great breakfast!Posted Jan 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel on business. I was happy with the service, and the selection for breakfast was great. Also, the bottled water in the room was a great plus too.

Great!Posted Jan 21, 2013
Really perfect; one thing to take into account; the hotel is NOT in Guanajuato downtown, which we expected; however it turned out to be more convenient as it is very easy to go to the city center by cab for a limited rate (easy parking at the Holiday Inn Express if you drove there); in addition I suppose that rooms in the downtown area are much noisier.
