Happy with Ana CatalinaPosted Aug 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed at the Ana Catalina in August 2013 and are from Orlando FL. The location of the hotel is excellent, about a 10 minute walk to the centro. The staff was attentive and downstairs there is a nice little restaurant with good selections of food. the room was clean but simple. The location is in a neighborhood where I felt safe. I even got a teeth cleaning at a local dentist. Would not hesitate recommending this hotel

Great hotel to walk around and see the townPosted Dec 29, 2012
Cons: Very basic
Location: Very centric near boutique hotels and city center
It's very basic, great location and no frills. Nice staff, don't expect more than you are paying for :)

NoisePosted Dec 7, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel was between two cobble stone roads. It was extremely noisy. If you could live with that it's ok.

Boutique Hotel in Amazingly Charming CityPosted May 29, 2012
Pros: Very charming staff, hotel has character, safe in room. Unique boutique experience.
Cons: Open plan = noise if you go to bed relatively early.
Location: 15 minute pleasant stroll to historic center, parks, grocery store and restaurant near by.
Good location, secure, gracious staff. Noisy at night, then again that is part of Mexico. ; )

HOTEL & SUITESPosted Jun 16, 2011 on Hotels.com
I stayed in a hotel room facing the noisy street without any fan. Rooms don't have drinking glasses (Free bottles of water included) and 2 wire hangers! Two! No clock, no refrigerator, Room was unadorned and boring. Moved to 'master suite' on the top floor (It had fridge) with lovely windows (No screens), sofa (facing the white fridge), unstable 4-legged table, hutch, back ring in the toilet from dust-leaking skylight, NO hangers and no place to hang clothes! Sheets too small for bed, no fan, misquotes were not stopped by no lights or thin drapes to bedroom closed. WiFi didn't always work in room, but on the terrace. Bath mat instead of hand towel. This is a hotel in decline with no capital investments to make improvement.
