The place to say in Guanajuato.Posted Nov 25, 2013
Pros: Everything: the location, the staff, the ambiance, the facilities, the....
Cons: If you get a room near back, just note that on weekend nights, there can be some music from the plaza. Can't beat location, so enjoy the music!
Location: Everything - you can walk pretty much to many of the major historic attractions, museums, restaurants. A quick 7 minute cab ride to Las Mercedes.
The location is unbeatable - you literally step right onto Jardin de Union, bustling with restaurants and shops, in the heart of the historic district. The facility is modern and elegant while being comfortable and unpretentious. Wifi is great. The staff is ridiculously kind - people you just want to hang out with - they make sure you are well taken care of. Can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Fantastic mix of colonial and modern.Posted Jul 10, 2013
Pros: The decor, privacy, location, service
Cons: no swimming pool
Location: Perfect. One can walk through the town on foot anywhere. It is located in the heart of the town.
The hotel is a combination of colonial and modern. The service is great and the staff are kind and welcoming. I have a large family and I think that a swimming pool will be perfect but other than that my experience was fantastic.

Dear Mrs. Belen, We are very happy to hear about you and receive your wonderful comments, we work every day to give a complete and excellent service, you know that here is your home and we hope to receive you again. 1850 Hotel Boutique is a cultural heritage building that is one of the reason that we can not have a pool in the interior but you can have a relaxing experience in our SPA. Have an excellent day. Kind Regards.

Stylish, excellent location, great staffPosted Jun 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nice experience. Complimentary breakfast at excellent restaurant net door extra treat. On frustrations - they need to get their act together re wifi. Says wifi throughtout but it is spotty and unreliable. But there is a Starbucks next door so always a way to get online.

Great stay in Guanajuato!!!Posted Jun 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Hotel Boutique 1850 is a beautiful hotel in the best of locations with an incredible staff. I stayed in two different rooms--a single at the beginning of the trip and a suite when my family joined me mid-week. Both were very comfortable and incredibly unique. They were quiet despite the hotel's location right on the central jardin. The staff was incredibly helpful and made our daughters feel at home. The rooftop bar has amazing views. I will stay at HB 1850 again!

Best hotel ever!!Posted Jun 10, 2013
Pros: Costumer service, all the staff is really great!
Cons: The transportation company that works with the hotel is not good. Neither at the arrival nor the departure they were on site or on time.
Location: Great, everything is close to this hotel.
Hi all! If you are thinking about travelling to Guanajuato this is the hotel! The location is great, close to the most important places in the city, the food and staff's services are outstanding, the bar in the terrace is the best place to spend some time at night after a long day of work or tourism and the hotel facilities are what you need during your staying there. I stayed here for three nights and I don't have any complaint at all.

Great hotel. Staff made us feel like familyPosted Apr 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our wedding anniversary vacation was our first time in Guanajuato, and overall it was great. The hotel was right in the center of the action. If you love mariachi, get a room with a window onto the park. Believe or not with a closed window, we slept well even as the crowd partied on a Saturday night. The staff was great and we became like family. At the end of our stay, we discovered the secret, they pay everybody twice what other hotels pay despite room prices between $200 and $400 per night.
