generally great stay and good reception except bf waitress service unfortunately below par. would be perfect is service improve and more friendly.

Rooms stunk of smoke, slow internet-unusable

We were in guangzhou on business and regretted staying at this hotel as the internet was so slow we couldn't even load a page! The rooms stunk heavily of smoke, we asked to change hotel rooms and the second room stunk of smoke also. For two non-smokers this was horrible! There are not many restaurants or food places nearby, the location is not exactly convenient to anything.

Don't stay at this hotel if ur a foreigner

This hotel is only for chinaese people it's whole set up is for them Staff don't speak any English My room included breakfast that's it u like chinaese breakfast there was nothing for non chinaese people to eat when I complained about this & the fact they ran out off food let's just say I got lost in translation no one spoke our understood English & if they did all you would get is a sorry and that's it What ever u do don't waste ur money on this hotel unless u speak Chinese

A 4night stay in Sept 2013

The hotel external is grandious, lobby is spacious. Hotel room has no wifi contrary to its website's statements. When u need to use mobile connections one need to go to the lobby. And out of the 9 hotel wifi connections, its so hard to connect to one. Room access card always malfunction when back to room after the day, need to go down again to front office to replace new entry card. The room is quite clean. The dinner buffet of ¥180 per pax at the main restuarant is not consistent of the value of the food served. The attendant or bell hop will look away and not help to carry the luggage from yr transport when u arrived. Wonder why is he wearing the uniform and standing there for? However, the hotel is quite well situated with walking distances to many good places.

The hotel was good . Some portion was under renovation .so a bit disturbing . Staff was good and helpful. Hotel never provided any thing other than soap as basic amenity in the washroom. Which was bit surprising. They said it is the hotel policy Rest was ok

The Hotel lobby is OK nice like always

When I booked the room for $200.00 a night Expedia wrote: each room has even a washer and dryer en a kitchen, comfortable beds upgraded sheets and linens There is no washer and no dryer and no kitchen, the bed is hard as a rock, a normal person can t sleep on a bed like this you wake up in the morning with a sore back

Nice hote and good price! Great location and very close to subway. i will stay there again nxt time I visit Guangzhou!
