Big, plain Hotel

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Customer service, breakfast and put more action in the common areas. There are hotel buildings without guard in the entrance.
We chose this hotel because of the free airport transfer, however, it took us more than an hour to be picked up all because of the hotel's inefficiency. Would have been better if the Hotel gives clear instruction to proceed to Gate 13 and pick up staff asks people when they arrive. Shuttle does not bear the hotels name in English and staff would not listen to people saying they have booking for the night even if you show your hotel confirmation. He will simply say, call the hotel again. No customer service at all. Breakfast is also poor, the choice and the quality, even the table setting. Guests are asked to occupy tables without linen on top, does not quickly clean the table after the guests is finished and has left. So the next guests will just have to live with it and quickly have whatever is offered, even eggs are terrible. Lights are also selectively turned on in the dining hall, so it's kind of dark in some areas. Find another hotel , don't mess your trip with this hotel.

The front desk staff took forever to find our booking at 2am and we had to check out at 7am! This hotel is good if you just want a place to sleep before an early morning flight and airport transfers...the mattress is rock hard though.The breakfast is more Chinese with very few western options. Overall, ok I guess

Good for overnight stay

The hotel is very clean but due to understaff service is close to nil. If you go to breakfast after 8 am you would not find much to eat. The coffee is cold and no one attended to it. Block D is detached from Block A there is no under covers walkway for you to access to access block D.

Pros: big modern rooms
Cons: bed was hard for modern standards
Location: restaurants,a nd small night markets, shopping center
great clean and big room with all the mod cons, near airport, comfortable and includes breakfst (except its chine normally and a mad rush in the mornings). small markets at night and restuarnts nearby.

Rooms very basic, could do with a good clean, although the buildings seem new. Service at hotel was 'ok' but for £35 at Guangzhou airport you pay for what you get. Free courtesy bus too.

Nice hotel close to Guangzhou Int Airport

Pros: The room is spacious and clean. The breakfast is really good.
Cons: Improve your free shuttle service. Make it easier for foreigners not having a local mobile phone.
The hotel is a four star hotel. The internal decoration is on a four-star level. The breakfast is really good. The bad part of my experience includes two things. First, the location of this hotel is not good because it is located in a village. If you only want to stay there for catching tomorrow's flight, it is an acceptable hotel. Second, the hotel provides a free shuttle to the airport. However, it is really inconvenient for a foreigner to take its shuttle. As a tourist, I didn't have a local mobile phone when I arrived in Guangzhou. The hotel, however, requires you to call from a mobile phone (a confirmation process) to verify whether your request is true. If you don't have a local mobile phone, it is really inconvenient to fulfill such a confirmation process.

Complete disappointment

Called hotel several times in advance of stay to arrange transportation from airport to hotel. Transportation was not there on arrival. Called hotel on arrival and was told transportation would be there in 10 minutes. Waited an hour and driver never came. Took a taxi and taxi had difficulty finding hotel. Lost 2 hours before finally getting to hotel and paid for an expensive taxi ride. Would not stay there again.

Convenient & affordable alternative by GZ Airport

Pros: Convenient, safe, quiet.
Cons: Food quality was entirely too greasy. I had Rice Noodles but was mostly oil.
Stayed here as had an early (0715) flight out next day. Since Canton Fair was in town, rates were 2.5x to 3.0x normal rates!! Found this online and was pleasantly surprised as it was spotless. Having lived and worked in Asia for 20 years, I have seen it all. Wake-up call though about 10 minutes late, did come in twice. Free shuttle to the airport was a no-brainer and they even had breakfast "bags" prepared (apples, buns, mystery juice). Had dinner at the restaurant...VERY GREASY rice noodles!! All in all, safe and secure for overnighting near GZ airport.
