Reasonably big room with very comfortable bedding. Service and knowledge of staff especially front desk and concierge staff, could be better. On 1 occasion I asked for directions to a specific local bank, but was given directions to a different bank. On another occasion where I needed directions to a restaurant (with full address provided), I was advised to take a taxi whilst the restaurant's only a short 5mins walk from hotel.

Pros: location , room size , amenities.
Cons: Spa Prices.
Location: very central, near train station .
great location for the business traveller. friendly staff, nice large room, all the amenities that one would need especially when there was a down pour and no where to go. the spa I was a bit disappointed, very expensive compared to what is available just around the corner.

I had a great experience at the Westin Hangzhou so I tried the same change in Guangzhou and I was disappointed. The food at the hotel was very very expensive, the pool was nice but the gym was small and not well maintained. The staff was not particularly helpful. Next trip new hotel.

The only disappointing thing is that the hotel doesn't supply internet for free. A hotel of this standard shouldn't be gouging for internet fees.

Short pleasure trip

Pros: Cleaniess, and the staff at the bar on the ground floor are very nice.
Cons: The buffet breakfast doesn't worth the price. The food is not very taste but they charge premium pricing.
Slip on the sloppy side walk, 10 yards from the front door, because the granite has no grab and it was raining, lucky I didn't get hurt! The staff doesn't offer much help even though I was fully wet from the rain and the slip. Usually, I don't eat hotel food, but since it was a retreat, so I had breakfast buffet on both days. But very disappointed with the food for the price it charges. Doesn't feel like the food was freshly prepared but reheated. Both days were the same. Went to the top floor Italian restaurant, the staff were very nice, but I have to chase them for my food, and the penne I ordered is watery, like a soup. I have to return it. Again, not what I expect for the price I pay and from the hotel brand.
