Nice if you don't mind cigarette smokePosted May 7, 2014
Location: Great hotel if visiting any trade fairs as thus is the district
Pleasant hotel, good service and clean room. The only problem was the cigarette smoke that occasionally drifted through the air con. Apart from that, good overall experience.

A decent hotel to stay inPosted Mar 24, 2013
Pros: the manager is very nice and helpful; free internet
Cons: Getting in the elevator is a problem during rush hour. There are two and they are always packed.
Close to subway and easy to get around. Within walking distance to the exhibition hall. Environment is clean and quiet. Just do not count on getting food service if you arrive late at night.

Very near the convention centersPosted Mar 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
The location is best if you are there to attend a convention/trade show in the Poly World Trade Center (PWTC). The hotel is just 5 minute walk t the PWTC. The hotel's service is also great. The staff are very friendly and courteous. They are not very good in speaking in English but they are trying their best to communicate effectively. The size of the room is OK. The room is a bit dark though but very comfortable an cozy. Generally, my stay was great and pleasant. The only thing that dissatisfied me is the over-pricing hotel transfer. I paid 500rmb only for pick up and transfer from airport to hotel which is only 1 way. It is better to take a taxi. Taxis only charge 150rmb.

Great location but ready for the stairsPosted Mar 11, 2013
The wait for the elevators is unbearable as the higher floors are offices. During the peak hours in the morning, lunch time and after work, there are long lineups to use the elevators. Other than that, it's convenient, right across from the convention center.

Room Key CardPosted May 19, 2012 on Hotels.com
My check out time was at 12:00pm; however, by 11:20am, my key card stopped working and I couldnt get back into my room. I called front desk and they said that it is normal. Excuse me! So you are basically telling me to get out at 11:20am? Other than that, everything was great with the exception of needing better maintenance.

An excellent hotel for the Canton fairPosted Nov 7, 2011
Location: the Yiwu Commatel Hotel for the Canton Fair
This Hotel is with in walking distance to all the areas of the fair, the rooms are very nice and modern , the breakfast was great, and included in the price, and they evan had great coffee. I would definetly stay here again. The price was very resonable compared to other hotels in the area. Just make sure you have the correct address, because the Chinese taxi drivers have a hard time finding it. The staff were extremely helpful with any problems you may have.

Canton Fair stayPosted Nov 7, 2011 on Hotels.com
Booked this hotel, thought it was good value for easy access to the Canton Fair which it was but the hotel pics are not what you get. Pool was green, breakfast was average, check out was slow, lifts took ages and bed was extremely hard but is a good location and not bad for the price, it could have been worst. Other nearby hotels are very expensive especially at that time of year. Free wifi was good. Next time I would book in different district and catch a taxi to Canton Fair as it's really cheap. If you staying at this hotel, there is a restaurant on level 5 and 7/11 in the basement of the building. McDonald's close by and MTR. Do recommend for first timers to Canton Fair, also make sure before you arrive you have the address in Chinese writing otherwise your driver will be searching for a while but I eventually made it. Good luck!
