This hotel is fun because it has an old-world feel to it. The staff are what make it shine the most! They are attentive, friendly and very, very willing to help in any way! The rooms are spacious and relaxing and I've never had a bad room!

Cons: on the night we stayed there was a wedding going on which was quite noisy and made having a relaxing dinner in the restaurant not possible.
Location: we checked with the front desk and found the hotel had a complimentary shuttle to cayala where we could have a peaceful dinner. very nice..
check in was smooth.. valet was convenient. rooms are gorgeous..

Even do the hotel is in a very good location (near to Cayalá Mall) and 9km from the airport our stay was not excellent. I experienced the worst WiFi connection not only in our room but also in the lobby and other common areas (also the pone was 'in and out'). We ask for hot water to make some te and it took 45 minutes and 3 phone calls to room service.

This hotel is very nice, but what makes it special is the staff who are all wonderful. The rooms are large but slightly tired. The hotel has a nice ambiance unlike a chain hotel. Great value too.

Pros: After reserving a suite and finding it smelled of mold we were just glad to leave the hotel. Some service staff were, however, very gracious.
Cons: The hotel charges far too much to have rooms that are moldy. They need to clean up those rooms. They also need reasonable food price choices.
Location: The location is terrible. There is nothing within walking distance of the hotel and traffic requires a cab to get anyplace except the airport.
Hotel Vista Real is located 20 to 25 minutes from the airport. The advertised time of 10 minutes from the airport would only work if there was zero traffic. The hotel takes advantage of the fact that there are no restaurants within walking distance to spike the prices of their in-house restaurants so that they are very, very expensive, even for lunch. We reserved a suite with jacuzzi, separate shower and private toilet. When we walked into the suite it smelled of mold. We requested another room but had to wait while they "addressed the problem" by spraying the room with perfume, which only made the problem worse for our allergies. Finally, after about an hour they moved us to a standard king bed room on the fourth floor. Even the bellman understood the problem. He said, "Is your room on the garden level?" He understood that the rooms on the garden level suffer from problems with mold. The smell was gone but now we had only a standard room instead of a suite, no sitting area, no jacuzzi, no separate shower, no private toilet. But when I asked that they compensate us with a free breakfast I was told that we were now on the 'business class floor' and those rooms were more expensive. We were told those rooms go for $250, but when we looked on the web site they were less than the price we'd paid for the suite. But they said they would talk to the manager. They never got back to us.
