A great destinationPosted Mar 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
The staff there was incredible, they fulfilled every request that I asked. The food was incredible. Every day they cleaned my room without me asking for it. It was also very safe to leave things on the open, nothing was stolen.

Very nice hotel, nice staff, great breakfast!Posted Jan 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
I loved this hotel. It is a small, two story, old convent. The second floor balcony overlooks the quaint courtyard. The front desk staff were sweet and attentive. The room was big (room #1) with a window that looked over the courtyard. The bathroom was also big and had a tub, which is a rare treat in Antigua. The towels were old and dingy, but you could tell they were clean. The hotel is about a 5-7 minute walk to the main square and since it is that far away, it was very quiet! They play very soft, classical music throughout the property and it is really soothing. The fountain in the courtyard adds to the serene setting. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel for someone looking to relax a bit on their vacation. Also- I just want to note that I don't speak a lick of Spanish, and they don't speak a lick of English, but we got along well.

Great location, great rooms, must stayPosted Aug 4, 2012 on Hotels.com
Perfect place to stay in Antigua for the value. Only downside was really SLOW breakfast. It is included. Had continental which was toast and fruit. Took 45 minutes for them to bring it. Had a great room. Wonderful courtyard. Very nice owner. Perfect location. Just far enough from city centre to avoid congestion but quick access to be in the middle of it all.

excellent hotel, very friendly staff, helped me arrange a collectove shuttle bus to the airport (much cheaper than a taxi). Good breakfast, very nice room !

Placido Comfort Hotel, Antigua, GuatemalaPosted Jan 24, 2012 on Hotels.com
Great service and nice rooms at a very reasonable price. The rooms are huge and tastefully decorated though a little dark because of the layout of the building. The bathrooms are also very big and completely new. Everything was spotless. The included Guatemalan desayuno típico was great! I highly recommend this hotel.
