Location: Excellent. Especially if you are making a dash to the airport early in the AM.
Quaint, very comfortable and extremely helpful staff. Excellent value for the $$ and very close to airport. I will stay here again.

Hotel is in great location, about 15 min from airport w/ free shuttle. I needed a good comfy place to rest after backpacking and cheap hotels, and this fit the bill. Food was pricey but worth it. I read another reciew about loud parties and when i got to the hotel i noticed that there was a wedding reception goin on. I asked for a room in the quietest corner and i didnt hear a peep all night!

Great for couples and small family.

Pros: The personnel.
Cons: Their restaurant and the buffets they have are great
Location: The location is great right in the middle of the best entertainment in Guatemala city
The only sore eye was that they charged $20.00 for "early check-in" and that was something that we were not expecting since we booked the flight and the hotel at the same time. Aside from that the hotel is great and we will be back next time we fly to this destination. Food is great!!

Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Dark small rooms.
Location: Main street.
As always, in general terms, staff in Guatemala hotels are very friendly, excellent service everywhere and they know how to treat travelers. Room was small, as a smoker I wanted to get a room high up in the building to have a view but they only allow smokers to stay on the first floor due to a smoking law in the country, so you are subjected to stay in only one type of room and don't have a choice, you have to settle with what is available. The room was so small to me that I had decided to quit smoking for the week in order to get another room, was given a key to other higher floors but they are all the same, slightly bigger. Their TV's everywhere are old tube boxes but as a business traveler most of the time end up not using them anyway. Lots of noise on the first floor because rooms are very close to the lobby, Lighting needs to definitely change, not strong enough. I felt like Howard Hughes all during my stay. There is only one thing I consider major in Guatemala as a whole, and is the fact that security in hotels wear ear phones and black tuxedos and don't have a friendly face. When you walk around the lobby you see them everywhere, making you feel you are in a federal government office packed with federal agents, so you feel watched. There's pros and cons but what compensates everything is staff, they are very friendly and helpful. Most likely I will not stay on this one again simply because I want to have a bigger room and be able to smoke.
