Great time at the Sea of Cortez Beach ClubPosted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Location, and room views.
Cons: Not allowing screaming kids in the pool at night.
Location: close to horseback riding, and the soggy Peso Palapa Beach bar (the best bar in San Carlos).
As always, will all of our stays at this property - the staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Each room has an ocean view - spectacular!! Pool/spa, restaurant, and surrounding amenities are all kept up nicely, and are very convenient to use.

Nice place.Posted May 12, 2014
Location: great area and good beaches and restaurants near by.
good restaurant and not real expensive. Resort fee were $65 daily and that is a bit high. Their beach is not good for laying out. Close to nice restaurants and good beaches.

EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE BEDDING.......Posted May 2, 2014
Pros: We got a great price, the kitchen was perfect, it was great to take a nice long bath in the big tub and everything was very clean. Beautiful view.
Cons: Not on a sandy beach - you have to walk a bit across rocks at low tide. Car drive seriously 5 minutes from stunning beaches ...food so-so...
Everyone was so nice, our view was gorgeous and we had the place to ourselves.

Quiet hotel but away from the main town.Posted Feb 20, 2014
Pros: The hotel was very quiet and on the beach.
Location: An excellent little spot on the way south to Mazatlan. Quiet beaches and neat, small town with its own charm.
Chose this spot as a stopover to relax a couple days after travelling. An excellent choice for us. The pool was being renovated so was unavailable for use... but the work did not intrude on the peace in this place. We did have a bit of trouble finding the hotel as we were unfamiliar with the area.

Very nice facilityPosted Jan 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
Stayed two nights, our second visit in two weeks. The pool was being re-tiled so there was a lot of oise. The staff in the restaurant were, in general, rude and dismissive... On all 4 occasions we were there. Otherwise we enjoyed our hotel stay very much and will return.

Accommodating and handicap accessible!Posted Jan 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
As always amazing!! The staff is great!! Arturo the manager is very accommodating. I brought my sister who is handicapped and a room with a larger bathroom door and handicap accessible shower supplies were provided in the room. My sister had no problem with the room at all. We all had a great time! Best hotel in San Carlos!

One of the best right on the OceanPosted Jan 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
Great Hotel. Front desk is very professional, honest and quick to check in and out. No games with deposit ($100) refunded at check out. Parking is tight but always find you a space even for a large truck. Rooms are comfortable and efficient but not luxurious. Spa (jacuzzi) was great. Pool heated. beach right there. very friendly staff. The owner has a continuous loop on TV in room with his philosophy. Diamond Resorts International. On site restaurant/ bar is adequate but many restaurants close by. Kitchen in room as well. Sorry to leave ...would definitely return!

Great choice in San Carlos if you have a carPosted Dec 21, 2013
Plenty of space, a full kitchen and fridge and microwave, beautiful views, and very comfortable and nicely set up furniture make this place great. One can drive in either direction to restaurants and beaches. The place does not have access to a sandy beach although one can enter the ocean off of the property. The staff are very helpful as well. The pool is large and heated in the winter and the hot tub was very nice as well. Without a car, though, this location would be inconvenient and expensive to try to get taxis to move around town. San Carlos is a beautiful place to spend some relaxed days enjoying nature, great fresh seafood, Mexican hospitality, and breathtaking landscapes. Not for the college crowd looking for parties.

Great getawayPosted Dec 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our mid-December stay was great - still off-season and a little slow around town, but the hotel was wide open and a delight. Pool was sparkling but a bit on the cool side; if it's 'heated' they could bump the thermostat up a few degrees. Spa was beautiful. Rocky in front of the hotel, they have their own private beach raised up on a patio - very nice. A small 'real' beach was maybe 100 yards to the south, and easy walk. bigger beach for strolling a mile or two north - turn in at The Soggy Peso. With a vehicle it's perfect, and without still very good - the on site cafe works. San Carlos is beautiful. A great getaway.
