"Nice hotel/visit but be aware of deposit charge."
I enjoyed my stay and all went well. I like the fact that the restaurant uses a lot of local produce. The rooms are adequate and beds comfy. The pool and sauna were fun, would have been nice to have a hot tub. The only thing that concerns me is that my credit card was charged 50$ damage deposit and after two days, it has not been credited. In all my bookings, I have never been charged for the damage deposit, the hotels usually authorize it but never have actually place the charge. This is the fist time a hotel put that charge through so I am patiently waiting for the refund which I heard can take up to five days which I find unacceptable.

I was there May 19th this year for two nights for my business travel.
I travel a lot and stayed in many hotels. This one is totally underrated -
very top class in reality. I highly recommend it.

I noticed there was one extra step on to reach the second floor on one side over the other. It is probably the hotel was built such a long time ago that the second floor was probably not accurately level as today`s building requirements.

Not one but two rivers run through this southwestern Ontario city. Guelph's Royal Recreational Trail brings river-watchers, bicyclists, and walkers along the water and into vibrant downtown squares and streets packed with bistros and bars, galleries and shops. Take in one of many indie rock bands, the summer Jazz Festival, and McCrae House, which honors poet John McCrae of In Flanders Field.
