“Comfortable stay”

The friendliness of staff, delightful breakfast & economic rates enabled my stay to be longer. Pool & hot tub functional. Recently remodeled & located across from Tangier Mall. This is just a 10 minute drive from the Gulf Beaches & tons of activities for the whole family.

“Very satisfied”

When people hear the name Econo Lodge, it is usually a cheap hotel that leaves a lot to be desired. This Econo Lodge is in an excellent location. Right across the street from the Tanger Outlet Mall in Foley, AL. One block from world famous Lambert's Restaurant. The rooms were very clean. Great pool and hot tub. Expedia made our check in and check out very convenient and fast. This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel and both times were very satisfied. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

“Would stay here again”

Nothing fancy but everything was nice.

“Convenient Loction”

Our greeting at the hotel was not necessarily good or bad, it was more like "business as usual". The rooms were nice and clean, though they were small. I suppose that they were typical in size, I just think that most hotel rooms are small. There was a small refrigerator and microwave in the room that was convenient for us. If you enjoy shopping, the location is great. The Foley Outlet Mall is located right across the street and Gulf Shores is just a short drive south. I thought that the price for the room was too high, but compared to the room costs of the hotels located right at the beach, the price was acceptable. The breakfast that was available was a typical hotel breakfast - no eggs or meat of any kind. Overall, the hotel was reasonable for it's location I suppose. In another location, I wouldn't pay more than half of what the rates are currently. I suppose location means nearly everything in this case.

“Noisy Hotel”

The location of the hotel was the best thing about it. If you like hotels that have the doors opening up to the outside, then it might be for you. I prefer to stay in a hotel where I open the door to a comfortable interior of the building. The traffic noise and the people walking outside made for restless nights. The walls seemed to be be paper thin, it was no trouble at all to hear conversations and tv's from neighbors. I would not reccomend this hotel to future guests. The price of the hotel was in line with other hotels of the same caliber.

“I will stay here on my next trip.”

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms were recently redone and very clean. The staff was extremely helpful and very polite. I traveled with children and they were welcomed by all. The continental breakfast was delicious! I was amazed at the selection. Overall, I couldn't have been more pleased. I will definitely stay here again.

“Great spot for going to the beach!”

Much cheaper than renting a suite or condo in Gulf Shores, this hotel was conveniently located near everything between Foley and the Gulf Coast. We went to Hangout Fest 2011 and this was a great sleeping spot, as it was only ten minutes from the Festival. The people were nice and the free breakfast was pretty good. Wish there woulda been a non-smoking room, but meh....

“As good as any hotel in this area”

Very nice hotel. WE stayed Two days it this hotel. The hotel exterior property and interior areas were very well lit. We usually stay in Foley Alabama each year and have stayed in many different hotels in this area and this hotel was as nice and as clean as any we have stayed in. We will definately stay at this hotel again.

“Going back!!”

The price was very affordable. The room had a nice size mini fridge and microwave. There was an iron and ironing board, blow dryer, and internet access. The bed was big and comfortable and it was just pleasant. I would definitely go back! It was close to the beach as well as other convenient places. It was clean and spacious.
