Quick Trip

Posted Oct 12, 2014
Pros: The location
Cons: The shower needs more pressure
Location: For me I'm a member of American Legion and Post 44 is just down the street and post 99 just up the road. Food places were near by.
Decided at the last moment to take a trip to the Gulf . Booked on line and this was the best I've done my wife told me . Very well pleased with room and everything. Breakfast was the best . Thanks once again.

Clean room, plenty of towels. Nice TV. Pretty pool. Beautiful lobby with large TV and great breakfast. Reasonable rate. Convenient to lots of shopping and places to eat. Beach only about 10 miles away.

Close to outlet mall but a disappointment.

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Size and layout of the room was good
Cons: Check linens more closely. Needs some TLC.
Location: Across the street from outlet mall. Close to eating establishments.
Very loud guest. Kids running every where banging on walls and shouting after 10:00 PM. Could not take breakfast to room, even though dining area was full. Towels were ragged, torn away from seams. Cigarette burn hole in sheet. Door on AC unit came off. When expressed issues with linens staff seemed to be unconcerned.

You get more than you pay for

Posted Sep 21, 2014
Pros: Cost, location, new flatscreen TV and remote
Cons: The desk and reading chairs in my room were not comfortable (but the bed and pillows were).
Three nights cost a little more than $200 (with taxes, in September), which is superb for a short getaway just 15 minutes from the beach, right across the street from the outlet stores, and minutes away from all the good restaurants. But take note: Unless you're a current smoker, do not get a designated smoking room. I quit smoking more than a year ago, and the smell doesn't usually bother me. But it bowled me over when I opened the door. I'd have switched, had there been any non-smoking vacancies.

Nice hotel near the beach

Posted Sep 9, 2014
The only problem I experienced with this hotel is that I arrived at 9:00 AM. Of course, I knew that was to early to try to check in, so I went and visited the State Park peer and the Zoo. By 12:00 however I was ready to check in, but was told that I couldn't until 4:00. Yet the sign was flashing vacancy all day. I prepaid my room over a month in advance and with Vacancy on the sign, well you would think that my room would be ready.

Nice stay across from the outlet mall

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Location, price, nice amenities
Location: Outlet malls, Lambert's, Beach is close.
My wife and I stayed here for a conference held in Orange Beach. We didn't want to spend a ton of money to sleep, so we opted for the drive back and forth to Foley. The drive isn't bad at all, the beach is fifteen minutes away, and the hotel is directly across from the outlet mall, and just down the road from Lambert's. The staff, with which we admittedly did not have a lot of interaction, was friendly. The pool is big for a hotel pool, and the hot tub is HOT. The only problem that we had was our room seemed to be warm when we were going to sleep (summertime in Alabama) but cold when we woke up. There was a screaming match outside at 2AM one night, but (hopefully) the hotel had nothing to do with that.

Short drive to beaches

Posted Aug 25, 2014
We booked this room when we could find a condo without a 3 night minimum. The rooms seem to have been recently updated and were great for the price we paid. The staff was the friendliest I've encountered at any hotel and the free breakfast was great. Make your own waffles, biscuits and gravy, cereal and much more. The pool and hot tub are also very nice. With only a 10 minute drive to the beaches, I'm glad we saved our money and stayed here! We will definitely be back.
