Cozy HotelPosted Jun 25, 2015
Location: The outlet mall is across the busy street, and the beaches are about a 15 minute drive from this hotel.
The back side of the hotel is the more scenic view, overlooking the large pool surrounded by palm trees. The rooms were very clean and cozy, and the front desk clerk was polite and helpful. You can walk across the busy street to the huge outlet mall, but would recommend driving because of the traffic going to the beach. Enjoyed our stay here because we had our dog and I think it's the only pet friendly hotel in the area.

Nice family motel .Posted Jun 18, 2015
Pros: The desk clerk. I can't remember her name..senior moment. We checked in Sunday 6/14/15 and really liked that I was able to check in early.
Cons: The hot tub. The rates for small pets.
Location: Great location. Many things to do.
The motel was recently renovated but not "new" as I was told. I was very much pleased with the desk clerk when we arrived and left. She was very pleasant, helpful caring and a good listener. I was not pleased with the fact that the motel is advertised as pet friendly, yet neither Expedia, nor your website mention that there is a daily charge for each pet. I fount that it was exorbitant considering my dogs were small, totally house trained and kept in their crates when we were not there to watch them. The hot tub was tepid. I reported it and so did other guests but it was not hot even the next day and no explanation given. I was pleased that there was no doggy odor in the room and it was very clean and stocked.

Second StayPosted Jun 16, 2015
Cons: Rooms are a little dated and dark.
Location: Outlet Mall is just across the street. Hotel is near many nice restaurants. We stay here because it is close to a relative's house that we visit.
Location is great for our needs. Across the street from outlet mall. Landscaping and pool area are especially nice. We did have trouble with our room key cards and the ironing board was in need of repair but we made it work. also there was no extra toilet paper in the bathroom. Other than that we were satisfied with our room.

Friendly Staff and Great LocationPosted May 26, 2015
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff.
Location: If you like shopping you are right across from the Tanger Outlet and talk about a selection of restaurants, you have plenty to choose from
Very friendly staff and very clean room. Across from Tanger Outlet a big plus and not but a few minutes from Gulf Shores. Will stay again when in the area and as a matter of fact, I have already booked another stay during the month of June. Great selection of restaurants near hotel. No problem at all in finding a place to eat.

Overpriced, but close to the Wharf AmphitheatrePosted May 12, 2015
Pros: The location. The bed made up for a lot of other disappointing features.
Cons: Run the pump and filters on the pool. Heat the Spa. Balance the chemicals better. Get rid of smoking rooms.
Location: 15-20 minutes to the beach and The Wharf Amphitheatre, across the street from Tanger Outlet mall.
We were looking for someplace inexpensive to stay after seeing Juohn Fogarty at the Wharf. This was the best we could do. Overpriced, but better than driving an hour and a half home. They were having computer problems so checkin was painful and long. Stuck us in a smoking room that stank. Room was decent, very dated bathroom and shower, carpet was wet by the sink. Bed was excellent, pillows were decent. Old fashioned wall AC that was very hard to regulate. Flat screen TV, small microwave and larger fridge. Door was very difficult to shut. Breakfast was offered, but was awful unless you are heavily into starch. Only fruit was a bowl of red delicious apples. Pool had a lot of tree debris in it. Spa was not hot and had way too many chemicals in it.

Renovations RecommendedPosted Apr 17, 2015
Sticky carpet, smelly room, cracks in room door. Only use for adults, no children for health reasons. Staff was amazing and made the stay bearable. Rennovations recommended with it being across from beautiful Tanger Outlets. Not worth the price we paid.

Won't stay here again.Posted Apr 14, 2015
We arrived 2 1/2 hours after check-in started and they did not have our room ready. When I asked when it would be ready, they could not tell me. I had to call Expedia so that they could do something about it. Room had stained linens and a dead bug smushed on the wall. I will definitely not stay there ever again. For around $100/night, it was pathetic.
