The location can't be beat! The rooms were clean and spatious, there were convenience items available and the breakfast was okay. Nice to have coffee available all day and nice to have a chairs/umbrella vendor right outside the hotel.

Pets everywhere. Several times I got in the elevator and had to step over dog urine. One of the elevators was broken so it took 10 mins. to get back and forth to the top floors. The room key kept deactivating, which was inconvenient. View was pretty good, beds were comfortable and the air worked so I would say an average rating is warranted.

Property was really nice. Had a problem with the air conditioner when I first got to the room. First repair attempt failed but they came back that evening and put a new unit in and no problems after that. Staff was nice and responsive.

I'm not sure who to blame Expedia or Hampton but I paid for a beach front room and got a room with a view of the parking garage. Definitely NOT worth the extra money. I was told at check in there was nothing they could do. Thus the poor review of the staff--they just didn't seem to care. Otherwise the facility is an average Hampton Inn.

Actually the Hotel its self was very good. We had trouble getting our room and trash taken care of . Had to call several times to the front desk ..... that didnt always work . Seems cleaning people were never there after 1 pm ???

The hotel saved my vacation by allowing an upgrade and giving us the room we expected. Expedia was deceitful every step of the way. I was very dissatisfied with Expedia’s service throughout. Also had issues with Expedia’s weak wi-fi connections.

Incredibly the beach is totally handicapped INACCESSIBLE! There is no ramp, nor is there an automatic door opener for the handicapped. This is unacceptable. In addition, there were many elderly guests who struggled to get through the heavy doors to the patio, and then had no option but to navigate the steep stairs to get to the beach. This is an issue that truly needs to be addressed.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The parking ramp is easy to access, staff has been very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, view was awesome. Breakfast has been very good lots of good options. Pool area is nice. Glad we chose to stay here for our family vacation

Construction next to hotel but we weren't near the hotel while it was going on. If I paid the amount per night and was working from the hotel it would have been a disaster. Car alarms going off due to the vibration of machines.

I love the hotel, rooms,beach and breakfast.
The only issue was, I was on the 2nd floor close to the elevator and the door leading to the parking structure. The door closer on the door leading to the garage was inoperable so every time someone left or came back it would slam shut 24 hours a day. Was impossible to sleep.

2nd shift receptionist was a bit rude, asked for our room number when i questioned why she said she wanted to make sure our pet was listed, like i could sneak a dog in.

The property is wonderful. It's the staff needs improvement. The front desk was unfriendly, unhelpful and didn't provide diamond service to diamond members.

This hotel is located in a perfect area directly on the beach. The dining options around are good - there are unique restaurants as well as grocery stores and Starbucks.
The lobby is nice and open and the breakfast staff was very helpful.
The hotel itself didn’t have a bar or restaurant open at the time we visited (Jan).
We did have a problem the second night we were there and it was a very stressful night with a certain very strong Smokey smell (use your imagination) coming through the room and bathroom. It took a very long time and two different rooms to get the front desk attendant to “find” us a room that was comparable to the one we paid for to move to.
felt that it was more like a “you’re SOL or a nuisance” attitude than a care or help effort … and I did have a child in the room so staying in that room was an absolute no.
Once they did move us, the stay was phenomenal. The rooms were great with all we needed and the balcony overlooking the Gulf itself was worth the trip.
The staff here at this Hampton wasn’t the friendliest (except the breakfast staff who were SO sweet).
If you’re looking for a wonderful location, spacious rooms with amazing views, and a few steps to the sand at a reasonable rate - this is your hotel.
