“Looking forward to a return trip.”

If you blink you will miss this hotel. That turned out to be a good thing, we were on the second floor so the stairs were the way to go. "slow elevators" Other than that the staff were very nice, the rooms were very clean, beds were more comfortable than home. Will stay there next time we visit.

“A jewel in the sand!”

We chose this hotel to spend my son's 4 day pass prior to deployment so my wife and I, he and his girlfriend could spend some relaxed time together. Both rooms were satisfactory, if not meticulously scrubbed, and the entire facility easily met our expectations for a comfortable stay. Amanda at the front desk and the lady who kept the breakfast buffet clean and well stocked deserve special praise. Efficient, helpful and informative!! Their notebook with local restaurant menus was a plus. Location, right on the beach, was superb, as well as both outdoor pools when we had enough of the surf. The place seemed family oriented with many friendly guests. We would have liked more shade on the pool deck, however, as the umbrellas and shaded chairs were quickly claimed and the early September sun was brutal. Beaches were clean and devoid of any evidence of oil, but even for a post-Labor Day period, there were relatively few people in the restaurants and shops. This slightly aging jewel was the perfect place to kick back, float around in the waters all day, and just plain relax and enjoy being there for a family retreat.

“The outdoor hammocks are wonderful!”

When we arrived the room was not ready so they allowed us the extra time the next day. The front desk staff was extremely polite and helpful as were the housekeeping staff.

“Pictures don't match actual hotel.”

The hotel was nice, but the pictures shown on expedia did not match the actual look of the hotel. The hotel was just an average Holiday Inn Express located on the beach.

“Beautiful beaches & sand dunes”

Quick stay but very relaxing and the water and beaches were beautiful. Staff was very friendly. Parking proved to be an issue as there were probably 10 cars including myself that had to 'make' parking spots which was a little unnerving with the thought of someone hitting my car by accident. But, all was well.

“Great location on the beach!”

Room was not adequately spaced for five guests. Service was great! Beds/linens were very comfortable. Would go back, but would need larger room.

“A very comfy bed”

This is my second visit to this hotel and again I was impressed. The hotel was accomodating 2 large groups as well as couples and families. The facilities of the hotel and the adjacent beach accomodated all very happily. Great value, great view, awesome beach.....and probably the most comfortable bed.

“Holiday Inn Express Orange beach-thumbs up”

Hotel beds are great and I enjoyed the mini fridge and microwave available. The pool and hot tub are exceptional!
