“Grand Beach Condo 108”

The reason for the 3 for the staff is that we never saw any staff member. Check in was through a "box" and check out was the same way. Our phone conversations were adequate. Our stay was very pleasant. Someone needs to check the blankets inside the ottoman. They were nasty and unusable. We would have preferred a bigger bathroom. Overall it was really nice except for the blankets.

Don't let the outside appearance of the hotel scare you. The room was extremely nice. I was pleasantly surprised. There was adequate space for all five of us in the room. The room was clean, bright, and cheery. The kitchen had everything we needed. The view was great and the kids loved the swimming pool. I would highly recommend this hotel, and we will be staying there again in the future. *Be sure to bring dish soap/ dish washing liquid and laundry detergent.

Our stay there was great. We never did see any one who worked there so I was glad I didn't need anyone. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Would stay there again!

It's was great but the hot tub was not hot a couple times that I know of.

“Good value for price”

We were disappointed that the condo was across the street from the beach which we could not discern at the time we booked online. As a result, when we were sitting on the deck, we could see the beach, but we also had a busy road between us and the beach so we were primarily looking at and listening to cars. The condo itself was very nice with a comfortable bed and well decorated. We were not able to get Wifi service and could not call the office to inquire about it since they are closed on the weekend. The value was good for the price.

“Not Grand but Pretty Good”

We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Beach. The unit we were in was somewhat dated but had a nice updated kitchen with granite counters. The view of the beach is nice but distant. Highway 182 seperates the condo from the beach so the upside is a longer view of sand and seaoats, the downside is noise from the traffic. The unit had all the amenities that we needed; washer/dryer, good kitchen, utensils for cooking, housewares and cleaning supplies, nice towels and cloths. The only complaint I had was the selection of the 25 channel cable TV. No ESPN or any other sports but numerous local church channels- hope you like preachers! WiFi was robust though so Netflix via laptop was my viewing choice. The Gulf Shores State Park is next door with a great beach and 1/4 mile long pier with a bait and tackle shop.

Overall my stay was wonderful there was only a few problems. There was a problem checking in because check in is not at the actual resort. There was only one roll omg tissue and one trash bag gota 5 day stay we had to go to the store. It is very clean and spacious enough for 8 people. I do recommend this resort if you are interested, and its also walking distance to the beach. And also the pictures on the website look nothing like the condo it's soo much better inside.

“Serious Up Dated NEED !”

This condo unit needs updating. Almost all water fixutes dripped or were leaking in some way. Refrigerator was in dismal shape with NO light bulb. Looks like one we used to have in our garage. Seriously, have the floors ever seen a mop (tile runs in all spaces except bedrooms. Electric range needs replacing. Crappy patio furniture. This condo rents for much more than it's worth!!
