We have stayed here many times and will continue staying at The Elevation. The staff is top notch and the ski valet is incredibly convenient. There is no overhead lighting in the living or bedroom. It does leave it a bit dark. It is fine during the day with the curtains open, however. This might be the only negative for this spacious room.

Great spot right on the mountain with easy access to parking and shuttle into town (5min walk). Staff was friendly and atmosphere vibrant with families, couples and groups. Property is getting a little dated/tired, but read that it’s getting a renovation in the next couple of years. Spa and workout facilities were nice. Ski valet a plus (all included in resort fee).

Parking can be very tight here in Crested Butte and we do our best to accommodate the different parking needs that our guests may have, we are sorry to hear that parking was a hassle for you. someone got check into my room and walkin my room around midnight and couldn't go back to sleep. Told front desk next day,.they said they will tell a manager and the manager will reach out. But never did, they dont care about your stay.

Location is awesome for ski in/ski out and access to the mountain. Room was clean, but dated-small bathrooms and we used the couch bed and it was not so great, just an older building in general. Bar type food at hotel, good coffee available at lobby bar and lots of places to hang out. For nicer food options you need to go to town. Overall, a decent stay.

This hotel was an excellent choice for my trip. I was traveling with two kids who were taking first time snowboarding lessons. The ski school was located right behind the hotel so it was extremely Convenient for us. We had access to go into town via the town shuttle, which departs every 15 minutes. The one bad thing was that the first time we went to take the shuttle, we actually got on the RTA bus, which took us all the way into Gunnison! We learn from our mistakes and got on the correct town shuttle the next time. Carmella the front desk receptionist was a great help to me in assisting with my checking out process. We will be back!

We have been coming to Mount Crested Butte for over 15 years, and this is our favorite place to stay. It is convenient to the slopes, shopping, and restaurants. Located within quick walking distance to the transportation center, a bus can whisk you away to downtown Crested Butte in minutes for additional shopping and restaurants. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The convenience of the hotel and the great skiing opportunities keep us coming back.

Room was not ready before check in, no big deal. Was told they would text me when ready, they did not. Wife went by front desk after 4 and room had been ready. Parking is confusing with little help. Bell service was nonexistent Room worked; couch/bed was terrible. Bed was very nice in room. Kitchen area was not convenient. Hot tub and pool area was ok. Lobby bar and outside Jose bar and firepit was excellent. Convenience to slopes and shuttle service was excellent. Pet policy was nice. Property overall great location, and would stay there again. The mountain itself and the people that work it was very good. Jose the restaurant was terrible, $3 PBR's best part of it.

We needed to request room cleaning and when they came the bathroom sink was never washed. The towels were replaced sometimes. They regularly made the beds. Went to the pool one day and it was murky and had to request maintenance. TV was outdated and could not get CBS. The hot tubs jets would function intermittantly. Ping pong paddles needed to be replaced. Even though there are all these faults, we had a great time. Skiing in and out of the hotel, ski valet was super, transportation to town was great, restaurants at the hotel were good, arcade was fun.

Had a great time. All of the staff were friendly and helpful! Renting equipment at the hotel was easy and quick! Putting the equipment in the valet was super easy and quick. Great space on the 1st floor to hang out while kids had are within view and have space to move around a play.

Very nice property with a great location right in front of the ski lifts! The price is great for the level of luxury, rooms were large for a family of 5, kitchenette was perfect and allows us to bring food for the whole day. Beds were not the most comfortable but that’s the only complaint. Pool and hot tubs were perfect after a day on the slopes!

Very close to lifts, hotel is very dated but from reading other reviews prior, I was expecting worse than what we actually experienced. The room had a great view of the slopes/mountain, good sized room, HOWEVER, I found trash from presumably prior guests when we arrived in the room, old food under the sofa/bed, musty smell to room (had to leave balcony door open). Refrigerator barely worked, room was not clean. Could hear all noises in the hallways (college kids partying), it was OKAY. An elevator also was down causing delays, and another guest entered my room unnannounced! This was likely the worst of it, I reported it to the front desk and was given the explanation of "our doors don't close properly?" Am speaking with mgmt on this. Good luck with this place...would not stay again.
