Great with a few shortcomings.

Everything was very nice with the exception of the shower dial being broken and falling off a couple time as well as the shower plunger (turn on the shower head vs the faucet, bath vs shower) was broken and would only stay up so i had to Jerry-rig it so i could run my wife's bath. The only other thing about the facilities and room was that our microwave was broken and had to turn dial and the coffee machine was full of old rotten grounds which was kinda gross. As far as the staff they all seemed really nice except the restaurant breakfast crew. My wife and i were ignored for about 45 minutes, had to get our own water couldn't even wave someone down to get us coffee. It was even more insulting because everyone around us was receiving excellent service. I am not going to go so far as to call the wait staff racist however i will say that it was pretty easy for them to overlook you, not what I want when I am paying 35 dollars for a breakfast buffet. Rather than that, Everyone and everything was amazing! Worth the drive from Denver for sure.

9380 Prime located in the main lobby of the Hotel is an excellent choice for dinner. I highly recommend. We do an annual ski trip every year and this hotel will definitely be our choice when skiing at Crested Butte

misleading booking

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: nice room, night 1 they put us in a terrible room that smelled of greasy food from restaurant, next to service elevator, kept us awake all night
Cons: Relation of this hotel and Expedia as far as reservations. HOtel entrance should have slope access not through restaurant
price was $100. more nightly than quoted, hotel added a lot of unexpected charges,we booked 4 nights, no confirmation sent when called to check they only had us 3 nights at much higher rate. They told us payment due at check out, they charged on unauthorized credit card night of check in. A lot of front desk confusion between their staff and experia's booking. Nice hotel, building kid friendly. But front desk mentioned they were not happy about the arriving "kid Fest"

great ski in ski out

Pros: great hotel, lots of activities for adults and kids. the hotel and the entire area are so dog friendly! it was great! bed and pillows were great
Cons: if you are truly "dog friendly", nix the $35 dog fee. no need to penalize all for the mistake of one.
we drove down from denver and stayed three nights, skied for two days. found out about the $20/night parking fee the moment we drove up. that was a bummer! the valet stated our other option was to park in the town of crested butte and take a shuttle. really? how do you have a hotel and not have parking provided? at any rate, the hotel was beautiful. lots of activities for the kids… pools, hot tubs, games, even a daily wine tasting in the lobby for the adults which was a nice touch. i would definitely stay in this hotel again and most likely will make it a yearly trip. i would hope they realize they make a killing on the room fees alone and can drop the pet fee and the parking fee. these "extra" fees are unnecessary. a pet "deposit" i would totally understand for damages, etc. but why a fee?

Perfect location next to the slopes...

Posted Feb 19, 2015
Pros: Large room, new décor and furnishings.
Cons: Parking small with some outside spots.
Location: Skiing, plus summer mountain activities.
Newer hotel in the Mt. Crested Butte ski area. Very friendly staff, spacious room and common areas, excellent furnishings and décor. Great for families.

on the mountain

Pros: everything
Cons: next time I'd request a room with a view
Location: came for a nordic ski race. everything is close. would be nice though to have an espresso bar in the lobby
Nice, roomy, updated accommodations. The weight room is absolutely, hands down, the best I've ever used. Better than most commercial health clubs/gyms.

GREAT location, super friendly staff!

Excellent location, amazingly friendly staff, beautiful place. My only disappointment was the daily clean of our room. They did not vacuum or clean dishes. Not a huge deal, but resulted in a lower housekeeping tip. Other than that...great place!
