Over the years it has hosted Prince Charles- Prince Edward- Mick Jagger and numerous Heads of State. Cara Lodge is located in a quiet area of Georgetown- approximately 25 miles form Timehri Airport. The hotel is located within easy reach of all business houses and government offices. It is renowned for its personal service and excellent staff. Hotel amenities include the renowned Bottle Restaurant which offers international cuisine with a local flair. The Mango Tree patio bar is a hidden oasis in the city and offer a snack menu form 4pm daily- Saturday Night BBQ and Sunday brunch. The hotel also offers room service- dry cleaning- currency exchange and a gift shop. An inhouse taxi service can cater for all your transport needs during your stay. “Comfortable, pity about reception staff”
Excellent but slow restaurant, try wonderful snapper for breakfast! Free wifi and good sized rooms but one of our party moved 3 times to get working shower and mine broke so some maintaenance problems. Reception never responded to emails and staff very offhand. tried to get adaptor, long wait. Reception always seem to be on phone and keep people waiting, then a bit offhand with requests. All in all probably the best all round (especially the restaurant - people from Pegasus hotel there -airline staff)
